Looks cool πŸ™‚ I've been wondering about getting extensions for a while for white streaks.

Wow I wish I could apply them properly πŸ™ They never seem to work on my hair....its short and thin and fine and you can always see where my natural hair ends...I just cant blend it in. I had sew in extensions once and they were really good but again you could still see where my natural hair ended and when the wind blew it was a nightmare cos it would lift up and expose the weave :/ I wonder if I should just go for that whole messy look and that would be better? I'm thinking of getting some sew ins again now.....I want it longer for when I go away in August he he. This forum is SO bad for my purse! πŸ˜€

oh my god how many wefts do you use! i love it tho looks so nice!
if i have my extensions straight you can see where they end, but it helps so so much if you get a hairdresser to cut them in for you. don't try doing it yourself, i did and wasted Β£40 because they messed up!
make sure that the wefts aren't too big for you head too, i have a small head compared to the width of the extensions, and often I have to chop a bit off each end to make them fit. you can buy extension sealer but just use nail varnish πŸ™‚
oooh check your local markets too! i know in leeds there are a few stalls that sell extensions really cheap.

Wow! You make it look so easy, and your hair looks amazing!

I'd love to do this, but my hair is really curly and very hard to keep straight all day long so it would look too fake by about midday! πŸ™

I know, but they often seem to be very regular. Mine naturally varies from doll ringlets to just being slightly wavy depending on how it dries, so I doubt I'll ever get it to look right. That aside, I hate leaving it curly, I'm addicted to my straighteners... or rather, was until my last haircut, which left it short and yucky and took out all the layers to make it easier to deal with whilst colour correcting from black to blonde... it now looks really silly when straight! Guess I'll just have to wait for it to grow back if I want it longer. :/

Mouse, my hair is exactly the same. When I wash my extensions they wave naturally, so I just fit them and then curl random locks of extensions (real hair included) to make them blend. Bit of salt spray and works out okay

There are so many tracks and you can't even tell its not your real hair! So jealous of your lovely thick hair

I so, so want to do this, but my hair is waaaay short. I saw a girl with hair as short as mine in the street the other day with extensions, and it was SO obvious, it looked like she had two haircuts, or some kind of extreme mullet! Not such a good look. I might try and sew my own wefts cause I saved a lot of my old hair from when it was long (like a freak..!) so at least hat will work out cheaper, and in the meantime wait for it to grow?

Did you end up going for it, Robyness? As a fellow short-haired admirer of the look I'd love to know how it worked out for you if you did!
