How to do "Hot Cross Bun" sectioning.

Its really important to know this technique as you will need to use this before you start a haircut, root regrowth, all over colour etc. Its the most easy/basic sectioning tecnique you can do. And it really just sections down the hair and makes it easier for you to manage.

IMPORTANT - Keep your lines clean and straight, it'll make your life soo much easier

Step 1) Use the nib of your cutting comb (Corner) to draw a line from the top of the head down to the nape (like a middle parting) to split the hair into two halfs

Step 2) Comb the hair away from the parting towards the ears

Step 3) Split these 2 halfs into quaters by making a line from the parting down to the top of the ear, again using the nib of your comb.

It should now look like a hot cross bun

Step 4) Secure these sections using crocodile clips.

You're now ready to start a cut or root regrowth, i'll have these done soon so keep an eye out =)

i did actually mix the bleach up ready to do a root regrowth, but our camera man decided not to participate instead, so we had to chuck the bleach.. and find a new cameraman lol
