I was 12 when I first dyed my hair (back in 1997) and it was just a simple red that turned purple under the sun. After that, I stuck to mostly natural shades of brown and red.

This is my natural color aka Asian black~

A whole mess of different shades of brown and red (I just piled on box dye after box dye for about... 4 years)

My first attempt at bleaching my own hair was a disaster (early 2011) because I was still pretty clueless about these things

Remedied it with some copper that faded nicely

But I wanted crazy colors! Unfortunately, living in the Philippines makes it a bit hard to get my hands on SFX, MP, CC etc. I found some cheap "Grape Purple" permanent dye and ended up with this lol

By this time, I had placed an order for some Special Effects but it was taking too long so I went ahead and dyed it a natural red (auburn, I think...)

A week or 2 later, my SFX dye came!

Over a month later

When the roots started showing, I dyed it with SFX Burgundy Wine

It didn't really suit me so I bleached it out and I was left with nice pink streaks

My hair was fried by this time so I chopped it off

And chopped it off again

I had a bad run with Directions Pastel Pink; I thought my hair was light enough for pastels but I was W R O N G

December 2011, I diluted some SFX Cherry Bomb and went pink

It would fade to a pretty cotton candy pink

A salon sponsored my hair in March and they only had pink and blue dyes. I forgot what brand they used but this was super neon <3

After 4 months of pink hair, I got tired of it  and my order from Beeunique had arrived. I diluted some CC Violette and got this

Early this month, I diluted some CC Sky Blue and got this (after bleaching and toning with Wella Color Charm in Light Ash Blonde)

I did a pretty lazy bleach job and the under/back part was really getting to me. So dark and muddy!

So l pinned the front part where the blue is still nice and attacked with bleach

It's a yucky brassy color towards the roots and a peachy pink towards the tips (what a stubborn color, really). Right now, I decided to give my hair a breather and opted to try and tone the light parts instead of doing a bleach bath. I'm rather undecided if I should dye the blonde part with CC Pinkissimo or CC Pine Green... or just bleach it all and go back to the CC Violette as it was my favorite. I'm kicking myself for only getting a bottle!
