I've always been terrible for remembering to take photos. So although I have been all kinds of colours over the years I only have a few photos. Now I'm using myself as a model so I finally have a better record πŸ˜€ So here they are!

As a blonde child, jealous of my mothers jet black hair, but was SURE that one day my hair would also go jet black. It didn't!

Many, MANY years later, after failing to become a hairdresser and many weird and wonderful colours, I have a photo of directions turquoise. Sadly it's tiny!

A little while later I ended up green. Which green... I can't remember for the life of me. But it wasn't much different from the turquoise fade I'd been getting before the green. So I might as well have stuck to turquoise lol It was mixed with black.

Then a while later I moved to Cambridge. When I was in Cambridge I went blue, purple and black.

And then bright blue

Unfortunately at the time, people in Cambridge didn't really seem to like bright coloured hair and I got a surprising amount of abuse. So I went black!

It was like that for about three years. It actually really upset me and left me not wanting bright hair for a long time. BUT last summer I got over that and went Nuclear red πŸ˜€

Then dipped the ends purple which you can just see here

And most recent, pink πŸ˜€

It is a shame about Cambridge, it made me hate living there πŸ™ I'd get people walking past making really loud comments about it and laughing. The last straw was one woman saying "OMG what the f*** was that blue thing!" and then laughing with her friends. My boyfriend almost went back and smacked her and he's not a violent person in the least. 2 mins later I was at Superdrug getting the first black dye I picked up πŸ™ I worked in the sewing machine shop in town too, so I was around people all the time. Oh well! like you say, I'm back to myself now. I do get some looks where I am now, but people in this area of London aren't really used to people with bright colour hair, but they are way too polite to say anything lol

But thanks everyone! I'm aiming for turquoise again now, with peacock colours mixed in!

They're mostly natural, but in some photos they're helped with various styles of curling πŸ˜€ The more bleaching I do, the harder time my curls have as they're loose ringlets. I've been doing what I now find out is the curly girl method for about 15 years!
