It might be restricting access because of the little pop ups? Last night I got a pop up from it advertising something for my google chrome so I knew when I had a PM.
Dunno though, wasn't particularly intrusive just a bit cheeky of them tbh.

What phone are u running it on?

Mines on my iPhone and I have never had a pop up or advert ( apart from asking to rate the app) I use tapatalk heavily everyday as it has all the specialist car forums that I use for our business, I can safely say iv never had any probs, pop ups or adverts, very strange

This was on my laptop, just a little 1inchx2inch box suggesting it. But it does make it look endorsed by this website.
Just a thought that it might have been deactivated for that reason, didn't bother me overly πŸ™‚

We dont run any adverts through our websites so if you see it again will you screenshot it and let me know?  When I signed up it did not mention it would put adverts on it.  Is up to the makers if they do but I would like to know as would hate for people to think we are trying to push products or adverts on them.

I had that show up on my chrome browser at home, too.  If I see it again, I'll try to catch it.

I've checked on tapatalk help forum and with the restricted access error they say to:

Can you please delete the forum in your favorites and try search it in tapatalk again?
It should working now.

A few people tried that and said it worked ok afterwards so please give that a shot and let me know. Cheers

Anyone getting pop up ads on their browser on a site that doesn't run ads needs to check for malware. Probably a good idea to do that anyway!

And yeah, I'm afraid for the time being I won't be using the app as I don't want to pay for it for one forum... but then I'm on the PC all day long anyway, so I really don't need to πŸ˜‰

Mine is fine, and it only appeared the once--a tapatalk ad the first time I logged in after tapatalk was installed, saying the forum is tapatalk enabled and would I like PM alerts to be sent to my phone.

It wasn't a pop up persay, in that in didn't open in a new tab or a new window--it was just a small box in the top right corner of the forum.
