Hello. I have a friend who's recently dyed thier hair pravana silver. It's a medium silver colour with a slight blue tone. They now want to go ginger! I wondered if a bright orange would go over it nicely to give a natural - like ginger or would he need to go back to the bleached base?

You need to get as much out as possible. Blue (and this is more blue than it is grey, technically speaking because grey isn't really a colour) is the opposite of orange, but orange is fairly forgiving, so it's a bit of a toss up really! Try to get it to a silver at least and it should be fine.
