I'm not really sure how I would go about getting this dark grey with that hint of blue...

Many dark greys are blue based, Joico or Ion Titanium are two that spring to mind. Greys are very dependant on the base though.
I have had good results mixing my own dark greys

I used Pravana silver and got something similar, not as dark as I diluted with conditioner as I wanted a paler silver but it definitely had a blue tinge.

What base did you have?

It might be my monitor but that looks to me like she has the dark grey over most of her hair but then baby blue 'highlights' in the front?

It doesn't look baby blue to me, it definitely has a grey/muted denim look to it in the front. I agree the rest looks like dark grey. I'd dilute the grey and add blue. On a super pale base.

Thanks for the help.
I can't see any baby blue in their hair haha, must come off differently in different screens.

I think I'm gonna bleach, dye my hair blue for a little bit then try Ion Titanium over the top of that. Should that get a similar result?

edit: is Ion Titanium available in the uk or am I just not looking in the right places?

Both Ion and Joico Titanium are pretty difficult to get hold of in the UK. That is why i tend to mix my own dark greys. a blue black diluted with a splash of a purple will get you a similar shade. There is also adore Platinum, very blue toned but it isn't as dark

This is the only photo I have, blonde with a pinkish tinge.
