Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo!

It's amazing. personally I think all the Batiste rang give me a little volume, but I have to reapply it daily for my hair to look clean. I haven't washed my hair since I dyed it purple which was on the 15/3. I usually wash my hair every 7-10 days, I used this dry Shampoo once which was on Tuesday & although my hair felt quite dry the day I used it, it seems to of sucked all the grease up & my hairs only now starting to look a tad greasy, I'm sure if I reapllied it again it'd look fine again but I'm itching to wash it  πŸ˜€ But it really worked a treat! Very happy with it.

I wonder if they have improved their formula then? A while ago someone posted a negative review of this product on here, with others including myself sharing negative experiences also, the common complaint being that it made the hair feel dry, rough and tangled. I've seen recently that they seem to have another volumising product now, can't remember the name offhand but may give it a try at some point πŸ™‚

I read that post earlier on. I'm not sure if it's been improved as this was the first time I used the XXL Volume. It made my hair quite dry the first day & honestly I thought I wouldn't use it again.. Wasn't no way near as bad as what people had wrote on the previous post though, the morning after my hair still wasn't super soft but not unmanageable, I was still able to brush & style it & it didn't get knotty as I noticed a few people were saying on the older post too. But I also avoid getting dry shampoo on my lengths so wonder if that may have had anything to do with it? I tend to spray it on my roots in scections, shuffle it about with my fingers & then brush it through.

Well, I'm guilty of spraying my entire hair with dry shampoo, but I've done this with 4 or 5 other dry shampoos from the Batiste range and had no issues with any bar the XXL. Different formula to the rest of them maybe, I'm not sure, but maybe it does work better sprayed only on the roots; could be worth another try perhaps πŸ™‚

this does nothing for me unfortunately, it only makes my hair feel like straw and all sticky :/ I love the one that smells like coconut though

girls, I read here that batiste makes your hair feel dry. In your opinion, it's just the effect of the powder or it's damaging the hair? My hair is really healthy(but with that health comes softness which eats all the volume) so the feeling of dry hair(without the damage) would do me good.

It's probably just the powder since its job is to soak up grease  πŸ™‚  (I haven't tried it myself tbh)

Yup, it's definitely not damaging.

I love the original formula, but the XXL one made my hair feel sticky and messy! It's almost like a heavy duty hairspray, nasty!

I love the XXL volume, i only have to spray it 2-3 days as it soaks up grease even on my fine and flyaway hair. It's my go to for through the week at work (i tie my hair up when at work anyway). I will say as the OP has said, it does leave your hair feeling a bit awful for a day or so, but it looks fine. Just feels a bit rubbish.
