So, just over 2 years ago I tried cutting my hair using this method...

...but it went horribly wrong. This was the last time scissors had been anywhere near my hair, so as you can imagine by now my ends were feeling really dry and ratty. So I tried again, this time using a lot of hair ties to anchor the ponytail more firmly, and my flatmate did the cutting. And this time, it went really well 🙂

I'm really happy with it; it hasn't come out 100% perfect but I don't mind and really love it. The ends are so much softer now, and it no longer feels quite so heavy despite being a lot thicker than it actually looks 🙂

Looking good! It looks really soft and lovely. Totally reminded me I need to cut my hair too!
