You'll need a lighter base for that colour as it's almost a strawberry blonde - if some of your hair has brown dye on you need to use a colour remover first, then lighten it with bleach or a bleach bath depending on how much lightening it needs and how well your hair responds to bleaching, then I think Adore have some shades that would be good for this colour, remember you can mix colours and dilute them with conditioner to achieve the exact colour you want.

So two colours removers used and my hair is still brown but lighter I guess abit patchy and darker on the ends.
My hair dressers is doing a bleach bath tomorrow.  But anyonever got any other ideas for quickly trying to make it lighter. I did a vitamin C treatment  yesterday  but I don't think it helped.  Though took some of the smell away lol. I've got clarifying shampoo and head&shoulders which I'm using.
Tbh bleaching my hair it will go gInger anyways  lol xx

I've never found a way to lighten hair that isn't harsh on your hair, I think bleach is the only way to get there and as long as its done well, its quite safe and easily controlled. I've tried many methods like the lemon juice and chamomile tea and lightening shampoos and conditioners and all that stuff ever does is dry out my hair and damage it, so your best bet is a bleach bath and you will get the outcome your looking for with out totally frying your hair.

I went to the hairdressers and some of the bleach just wouldn't take and there are some darker bits but I love it! I'll try to upload a photo when I'm on my computer. But I've brought tangerine from directions if it fades πŸ™‚
