*ott*

:sigh: It's just not what I was expecting. It's too bright or light or something, I can't quite put my finger on. Not sure what to do now... I'll wait until tomorrow to see it in natural light but I think I might have to cover it. Do you think SFX Blood Red would go over it?

Sorry it's a bit out of focus

I too think Blood Red would cover it although try a strand test first to check results.

I also like this colour and think you suit it πŸ™‚

It's really not good. That photo looks MUCH better than it does in real life; I'd be happier with that. It's bright and brash and not me at all. I was expecting something a bit quieter than this I think - it's too attention-grabbing. It needs to go πŸ™

Oh it is indeed too bright. I like it but wouldn't like it on me, so I guess I know how you feel. In sunlight it must be crazy to look at xD I once had red hair and it was so so bright while on the street x_x

I hope the blood red will make it nice for you :3 Do tell us!

I think it looks lovely tbh, I think it's just a massive shock to you as you're used to having darker hair.
I'd say wait a few days to see you grow to like it and if you still don't like it put Blood Red on it πŸ™‚

I just want to tone down the LOOK AT MY HAIR! aspect of it I think and I'm not sure fading will do that. Gonna order some Blood just in case - I can always use it later πŸ™‚

You're right fading might make it even brighter! If you don't love it 100%, then get rid of it. What's the point if you don't like it? Yes, it might grow on you eventually, but it might also get brighter/more orange as it fades. Follow your instincts I say, even if admittedly you do look lovely with it, what matters is that you like yourself!

I think as op has said, itll be a shock going from a darker deeper colour, when I went turquoise after being plum and cerise I really didnt like it but loved the colour,

I like it though

Maybe try putting a pink based red over it to make it more red-red? (Sounds silly.. but yeah) Might be worth trying to balance the orange base

I think it's beautiful, but HL is *very* orange ... Blood Red will be a good choice, as it's a deeper pink based red and you should get something a bit more "blendy".
