Utterly geek-tastic new knitting pouch  *yay*

Pretty! I've been meaning to get a sock sized project bag for forever.

I bought myself the two Real Techniques brush sets, one for base and one for eyes. Love the buffing brush for applying foundation and the deluxe crease brush is great too, despite its large size.

^I love lime crime! I have lots of their lipsticks and a few eyeshadow pots πŸ˜€ Is the liner any good?

Never tried it! I've not had anything from her before, but the blue one seduced me. I'm not sure if I'll like it, to be honest I don't like coloured eye liners much on me as my eyes are so heavily hooded and I feel too old. I know, it's stupid! But I saw it layered with black and just decided to buy! Fingers crossed πŸ™‚

I love Lime Crime! There are two lipsticks on my birthday wish list! (Poisonberry or Airborne Unicorn - best name for a lipstick EVER!) πŸ™‚

I would love to be able to stock LimeCrime on my website, but their minimum wholesale order is $1000, so not exactly within my reach at the moment!  Maybe in a few months when I'm looking to expand further!

Got these babies! One pair from an online retailer who had them massively discounted to Β£55, the other from ebay, I got them for Β£30. Couldnt decide between the two! And I got them both cheaper than one pair would cost in a shop! I love ebay items that end on a bank holiday, everyones too busy doing stuff to remember to bid! hahah.

Doc Martens foreverrr! I now own 9 pairs!  *1*

I was actually buying with thoughts to maybe wholesale it... but I almost certainly won't. I keep dabbling with the idea of wholesaling stuff, but never do!

CUTE CUTE shoes, Amy!!!  I love those... and what a steal, too!  πŸ˜€

Ooo, those are so pretty, Janine!  I was wondering how the liners were.  I've used liquid liners that I did not like at all.  They flaked and didn't stay put well at all.

I've had it on for several hours now and it's not flaked at all, doesn't seem to smudge (though I think they will if my eyes water, but that's not unusual!), so I'm happy. I did have to do two layers as they're on the slightly watery side, but I'd rather that than too gloopy. The brush could be a little finer, but they rarely are fine enough for my liking, so I'm not holding it against them as it's pretty good!

Maybe you know, MM, what I mean by skin on the eyes getting more and more crepey as you get older and a proper liquid liner is a great thing when your eyes are getting crepey! Using the bloody pen ones that are everywhere is a pain because they just pull the skin too much and you get a wobbly line.

Janine you have similar eyes to me, I've got heavy lidded eyes too!
Those colours look fab - and if either you or Mindi does set up wholesale with them, I'd definitely be a customer πŸ™‚

I am glad to hear they stay well!  I get watery eyes, especially spring and fall with seasonal allergies.  Even gel liners tend to run a little one me!  I might have to give these a try.  They are out of black just now (poo), so I'll wait until it's back in stock.

And yes, I do hear you about the crepey eyes.  Mine are starting to look quite hooded, and I try to keep that in mind when I'm doing winged eye liner.  I prefer the liquid as the gel liner I have to pull and well, there's quite a lot of saggy skin to pull on my eyes now.  πŸ˜‰  But the liquid I've not had great success with in the past, so I fuss with the gel.  Sometimes, it takes me longer to apply gel liner than it does all of my other makeup combined!

The worst is if I raise my eyebrows... the little wings take an upward arch and look a fright!!!  LMAO!  I have to make all sorts of funny faces to apply those darn wings straight.  Sometimes I wonder if it's worth it all anymore.  Getting older is rubbish!  πŸ˜€

Oh tell me about it! Mine are too and the older I get, the further down the outside corner of my eyes the fold goes, so the wing disappears as soon as I open my eyes. If I put it too low, the wing points downwards and makes me look miserable lol I went with it a bit today and you can actually see them, just! Also, my eyelids are slightly swollen so you can see the liner on the top! Sad day when I'm happy my eyes are a bit swollen!

LOL! I am rolling in laughter... as I can absolutely relate!  I'm always happy when my eyes are a bit swollen as it's much easier to apply liner.  That is so funny.  My husband teases me about getting older and sings "The Old Grey Mare" song to me when I'm grumbling about sagging body parts.  πŸ˜€

ETA: gah, I have no idea what I'm doing with the YouTube link as it won't post it properly.  πŸ™  Here's the song.  He always makes me laugh when he busts it out.  Old Grey Mare
