husband is away on a business thing in london, he's only been away since yesterday morning but last night was awful. I got myself creeped out about being home without him because there's been break ins in our street lately. And then had both kids poorly with bad tummys, and then my son was woken up at 2am by police helicopters that were circling the local area. It was so loud and went on until 5am! So he only fell back to seep about then, and then my daughter was awake a 6. I'm really tired. Broken sleep is worse than a night of no sleep for me. I'm surviving on cherryade, diet cokes and hard boiled sweets for bursts of energy.

Oh no glitter I hope you get a good nights sleep tonight! I wish we all lived in the same town so we could look after the kiddies while you slept!!
What an awesome town we would have with our hair haha!

So the plan was to get my extensions weaved in which is exciting, but I wore them out the other night and they just seem so thin and lank :/ I bought them from my local extension shop and they are nice and dye perfectly (which Im so happy with after the stress I had with 2 other companies) but I rushed and just bought them without asking what gram they were etc.
Thankfully I have my purple set, so they're currently in a bath of cleansing shampoo and vit c tablets. I hope they lift so I can dye them, I'm probably going to coat them in coconut oil and do a low bleach bath on them to lift them a bit. Fingers crossed!!
I swear if extensions weren't invented I'd be a less stressed person!!!

Meeshy I accidentally put two sets of extensions in the washing machine at the weekend! 🙁 They were bundled up with clothes in my bag and I didn't realise...each one now looks like a very tangled birds nest, so they're ruined. Fortunately I'm in the process of making a new blue set, I'm just waiting for the rest of the hair to arrive so I can double weft them and dye them, currently I am extensionless!. I am such an idiot! Lol!

Nooooooo!!!! My worst nightmare :(:( where have you ordered them from? Mine lightened rather well, I did a test on a clips worth of hair (link an inch) and didn't use coconut oil and the condition was dry but ok. Better than expected really! The only thing is that they had a greeny blonde tinge which made the pink a pit darker/purpley, not sure how to sort it really except from bleach bathing again :/

I went out to hobbycraft to buy some new supplies and all of a sudden came over really ill, started to have a bit of a panic attack, then went really weak and nearly fainted. Now I'm feeling really sick so I'm in bed already 🙁 I feel rubbish

I've just bought two lots of 80g wefts off eBay so I can see my own clips on (I like the 28mm clips because my hair is fine they grip better) they're Remy and cost £32 from china - I've bought from them before and they're thin but if you get loads of hair they look fine. I've bleached bathed mine a few times - after I just did what I do to my real hair (protein treatment / deep condition) and they feel soft again - they do tend to have a green tinge though.

My moan is that I've been put back on anti depressants after being off them for years...I feel a bit like I've failed, but also glad that I've done something about the way I've been feeling. I hate being emotional and anxious and sad all the time - it's gotten so bad that I'm not even excited about download festival anymore, I'm just plain scared 🙁 Then I feel bad for not being more grateful for the things I have (my head is a mess)

*hugs* Raa... sorry to hear that you've not been feeling well... but it's far from failure!  Depression is such a hard thing.  Getting help for it is sometimes the hardest part.  Sorting all the advice that comes from well-meaning people is really tough, too.  As a fellow sufferer of depression, I won't give unsolicited advice... but do be sure you're taking good care of yourself, okay?  You're not a failure.  Asking for and accepting help is a big step!  *hugs*  I hope you'll be feeling better in no time at all.  😀

And Pippa... good grief!  This whole business with BT must have you seeing red!  -r-

Thanks ModifiedMomma, I haven't really told anyone except my mum (who is a nurse anyway) and my boyfriend, so fortunately I haven't been given conflicting advice....which is good because it would probably set off all kinds of panic! I'm sorry that you've struggled with depression too - it's a horrible thing to go through 🙁

Go Pippa!! I hate ringing BT....I just don't because I can't deal with them!

How is Yodel still in business?  I thought Amazon weren't using them any more, but they sent my Firefly companion book through Yodel.  The tracking says it was delivered to a neighbour on Friday, and apparently attempted three days before (and it also has a "company closed on Saturday" status on Wednesday and a "problem solved--redelivery" status on Thursday).  I never got a single note through the door, and none of my neighbours have dropped a parcel off at my door or in the cupboard under the stairs.  How exactly did this redelivery get arranged, and more to the point, who arranged it and where, exactly, did they arrange delivery to?  I'm hoping their customer service team is open on Bank Holiday Monday, because this is not on.

Pippa - glad it finally seems to be sorted out!

Raaaa - I hope you manage to get to a better place!  I too have suffered from depression, and although I'm not medicated now, there are days where I struggle and wish that I was still on the medication.  But I just take it one day at a time.

Intemp - I had a similar scenario with Yodel a while back, I had a delivery from MAC come via yodel, they kept updating their tracking with status' that hadn't happened, until it eventually showed 'delivered' when they hadn't even been to my doorbell that day (I had taken a day off work to take the delivery).  I eventually had to ring MAC and get them to ring the delivery driver and get him to come back and give me my parcel!  What a total joke of a company!
