with all of the crazy hair people like to do on here it seems odd to me that there isn't more of an interest in Korean/Japanese styles. 
I'm about to start cosmetology school and when I get done my goal is gonna be to introduce more Asian fashion influence to the industry.  I don't know how it is in the UK but here (America) stylists are kinda....well, they're cool but it's sort of just another profession. 
In Korea and Japan, stylists are like rock stars!  I want to make salons like that popular here. 
Or just move somewhere else.  Whichever happens first.  ~_~v

Hehe. Yeah I love the japanese styles, the Harajuku, Anime and even Ganguro stuff is so cool!

yeah Harajuku style is pretty tight!  Have you seen the 'Fruits' magazine?  Basically it's just photos of kids dressed up in Harajuku. 

Ganguro is scary idk why it just is

I dunno if it's the style that's scary or the girls who wear it! I know what you mean though. I wouldn't copy the actual tyle - tan skin and white lips etc - but the hairstyles are kinda funky.
