Tried to do brown highlights in black hair. Turned out well but now orange

Hey everyone! I'm new to this forum and figured I could get some good advice here. I have dark brown, almost black hair. I wanted to add some dimension so I got some highlights that were a lighter shade of brown for a natural look. She did partial highlights by bleaching it and then addig a tinted toner. I left the salon loving it but now three days later my highlights look much lighter/orangey. I read this is due to it not being bleached enough? I want to avoid spending more money on redying it... Will blue shampoo help bring back the color I left the salon with?
The first picture is what I liked/from the first day and the second photo is what I have now.

Yes, a blue shampoo or toner would make the highlights appear more neutral (less orange) but your color shouldn't have faded like that in three days. I'd suggest contacting the salon and telling them what happened and that you are dissatisfied. They should offer to fix it for free.
