Rose Red bleed

Morning all,

I a currently really very happy with my hair colour but the bleed is driving me nuts!

It is a 50/50 mix of Rose Red and Pillarbox Red (both Directions) diluted with a ton of conditioner but weeks in and plenty of washes later it is still bleeding like mad, I'm dying practically everything I touch!

I already do a cool vinegar rinse, what else can I do to stop the bleed or as my roots almost need doing is there another colour/combination that I can swap too for a similar result?

Thanks
A xXx

I would guess it is the Rose Red bleeding, it is crazily pigmented, so next time dilute it much more. Try washing with a sulphate shampoo to get the extra dye out for now.
A similar colour is Special Effects Virgin Rose. It isn't as strongly pigmented as Rose Red but still needs a fair bit of diluting.
Also have a look through the 'Adore bases' thread. I am sure there is a shade very similar to RR (possibly Raging Red, but I am guessing) and Adore has the least rub-off/bleed of any dyes I have tried
ETA I have just remembered Adore have a new magenta shade Fuchsia fiesta (or Fiesta Fuchsia?) that might be perfect.

Yeah that's your Rose Red. It's SO bad for bleeding.

I think Pink Rose might be the similar Adore colour.
