I can't post pictures but I wanted to know what you guys do when your roots are coming back through
Do you just touch them up with the dye
Or mix dye with conditoner then apply to roots
I have special effects atomic pink mixed with cupcake pink on but my roots are quite dark and black coming through I'm just wondering what to do?

You need to bleach the roots to match the lengths before you add the dye.
If you don't want to bleach any more (you had a lot of damage if I remember rightly) you can just put the dye over your natural colour to help blend them in, but obviously pink won't show much on very dark hair.

You can just bleach the roots. That doesn't affect hair already damaged.

If you're careful, that won't happen.
But fair enough. It'll never blend in as I'm sure you realise.
