Red match to Remy extensions

Hi I'm really hoping someone can help.
I've been struggling with this for ages but now i'm really desperate to get it sorted as I have an important wedding in a few weeks! I found a great lady to do my extensions, but she doesn't do colour. The closest colour is their 99J (Angel Remy hair) so I spent today trying to get my hair coloured to match. Two hairdressers told me that it wasn't possible because it needs a purple tone! I think a vegetable dye might be the way forward but would need a mix, something I've never done before. Directions Rubine is the right kind of colour but too dark and I'm guessing adding a bright red such as the Pillarbox Red wouldn't brighten the colour?

I've attached a photo of the 99j extensions as sent to me, as well as a photo of my hair as it normally is- dyed with Schwarzkopf xxl live red (apologies for the weird pose!)

Please, any help is SO gratefully appreciated!

I would try Directions Dark Tulip over your current red. Remember that with these types of dye you can dilute them with conditioner if you want a lighter colour. Try on strand tests until you get the colour you want.

Can't you just dye the extensions the colour you want? This may be a bit dumb to ask, but I thought it would work.

The problem is if theyre bought and put in my hair and then I dye them and they don't match i've got bad looking hair and am Β£300 lighter!

Can you get her to send you a bit so you can match?

What iCupboard means though, is dye the extensions and hair to match, THEN put in. If you don't have them though and they're with your hair dresser, then that's obviously not possible πŸ™‚

I have a ton of photos, of the hair on the sample ring and the extensions themselves (as luckily she happened to be putting that colour in for another client the day of my consultation so had those). It is technically that Cheryl Cole in the L'oreal advert red however apparently that colour is Mahogany which I looked at and looks brown rather than have the right red/purple tone. I ordered Directions Rubine before Wicked Pixie replied, so I'll do a strand test of that on my hair and then buy the Dark Tulip if that's not right. I thought it'd be so easy!! If only I could cope being brunette I could have lovely long hair extensions by now! :/ x

I'd never trust photos, they can be really off.
