Please help with my hairmare!!!

Hello

I have joined this forum in the hope I can get some expert advice on what to do with my hair!

I have detailed below in order what I've had done so far...

1. Started with bleach white blonde long hair
2. Due to breakage and damage decided to go copper
3. Went to a salon and had 2 rounds of copper dye
3. Hair went a brown coppery colour(had one inch re-growth which of course took the colour fantastically)
4. Washed hair once and colour flooded out
5. Washed again and hair went a green/gold colour
6. Had very important client meeting coming up so got desperate and put a red box dye through it (I know I committed the cardinal sin of hairdressing and home hair dye is bad!
7. Washed and colour faded but was no longer green
8. Went to hair dressers and had another red/copper top up (hair looked amazing!)
9. Washed twice, roots are now a vibrant red and rest of hair is now a dull pale red/orange (can't really describe it) colour
10. Got desperate and put through another box colour (I know, I'm sorry I did it again!)
11. Hair is now dark brown but still pretty uneven
12. Washed twice and now have brown red roots and a dull lighter green/brown colour on the rest of hair.
13. Had hair cut and now look like a boy with multicoloured hair!  *ott*

On a serious note I am now desperate! This hairmare is taking its toll and I am getting stressed and crying everytime I wash my hair!

I do a client facing job and its really important I look well presented and I feel like this nightmare is not going away.

Please can you advise what I need to do? I realise I need to go to a salon but what should I ask for and what can I do to ensure the next time I wash my hair after leaving a salon that the colour doesn't pour out immediately and leave me with multi-coloured dull faded hair?

Any help would be greatly appreciated and sorry my first post is so long!! xxx

Can you add a pic of the current colour?
What colour would you like ideally now?

thank you for your reply - just drying my hair so will post a pic once its dry.

ideally a red or copper colour however I will settle for anything as long as its an even colour and doesn't keep washing out dramatically after the first wash xx

It is fading quickly because you are using permanent dyes on a bleached base. So each time you colour you are bleaching your hair a little more making it even harder for the colour to stick.
When darkening a bleached base you first need to fill it to replace the pigments the bleach has removed. Then you need to use low vol peroxide with deposit only dyes (or stick with direct dyes) so you don't lift the filler colour.

Here are the pics of the hair colour. Its hard to catch it in fading light but the roots are pretty red and ends are a light dull brown.

Is it to late now I have had all this perm dye on my hair?

It doesn't look that bad tbh.
I would just use direct dyes on the lengths to add some warmth and help them to match the roots. Direct dyes are totally non damaging, so you can top up the colour as often as needed. I would suggest a warm brown from Adore, or even a red (it won't be bright over the brown base)
