Playing around with warm purples (currently burgundy)

Hello!

My hair is currently burgundy/red (dyed from black, bleached to a light brown/dark blonde before dyeing) I was hoping to play around with some warm purples and fuschias before switching back to my natural black hair.

I have 2 dyes at home, and was trying to decide which one to use first. I have a dark warm purple dye (boxed... Garnier Nutrisse Ultra Color in 416 in Deep Violet) and pinkish red (L'Oreal HiColor for dark hair in Magenta).

I was planning on using the dark purple first and then using the magenta to brighten it up a bit (would probably do it once the purple starts to fade since I know the box dye is going to end up pretty dark).

Just want to make sure that Im making sense here! Im just a bit worried because I've used the HiColor before, only it was the Red instead of the Magenta and it worked REALLY well, it got my black roots perfectly, so I dont want to end up with bright roots.

Here's my hair story up to now

1) Bleached it twice and dyed it cherry red (done professionally)
2) Brightened it up with the L'Oreal HiColor in Red (twice)
3) Got fed up and darkened it with a burgundy box dye (ended up dark brown)
4) Currently burgundy (the brown faded)

Should I maybe do the magenta first, and then darken it?

I wouldn't use either to be honest, and definitely not one after the other when your hair had been through so much already. Also, permanent dyes are not made to use on already dyed hair, they just don't work as they're supposed to generally with unpredictable results.

I would use a colour remover to take out some of the red. Then use a pinky purple direct dye like maybe special effects Virgin rose.
