Help achieving this colour?

Hi all,

I was browsing hair pictures for inspiration and fell in love with this colour! (Hope the picture attaches ok hehe) What sort of a base do you think I would need for it? My hair is currently dyed permanent black over a base that's been bleached to light ginger. I'm planning to use a colour remover first and then bleach if necessary. I've heard good things about Nirvel ArtX Grey so I was thinking of using it, diluted and undiluted, maybe with a hint of blue added? Thanks in advance for any advice!

That doesn't look at all like the Nirvel Grey to me, it has warm, plummy undertones.
It looks like blue black for the dark parts, with a faded blue or blue based silver on the light parts.
See how light you can get your base first, you may struggle to get a light silver after removing black as there is likely to be some residual warmth. Something like Blue Velvet, which is a purple based blue, may be all you need to tone your hair to a grey shade.

My hair is turning this color. I used a mix of adore blue black with a few drops of adore jet black and some ion cobalt blue to offset the brown in the jet black. It goes black, then blueish and then a greyish blue like in this picture.

Edit to add: my base was a very pale yellow

Thank you both for the advice! I'm going to try a strand test tonight and see what sort of base I'll have to work with. Getting excited now!  πŸ™‚
