I am looking for something similar to adore dyes in that they have natural shades (brown specifically) and I would be able to mix them with other semis such as manic panic. I love adore but it fades so fast from my hair even after bleaching and I am having to re-dye before 2 weeks.
I try to leave the dye on at least an hour under cling film when dying, longer if I can. I mostly do co washes and avoid heat styling etc where possible so I don't know why it is fading so quickly. I love the colour of the rich amber when it is freshly dyed but within 3 washes it is a lot lighter, a few more and its a paler brownish pink.
Most other veggies dyes I have used in the past have lasted a lot longer than this so it's a bit frustrating.

I found I had to stop bleaching my roots and start using a brown permanent dye to give the Adore something to latch onto as over a bleached base it was fading after one or two washes, it does seem to last a little longer over a darker base.
I've also been using something called Colour Effects wash in wash out colour from Superdrug (not sure where you are but I think it may be UK only, i've been using the Mahogany and it is really quite red so again I'd say only use it over a darker base but it has lasted pretty well, it survived 4 washes on my virgin roots and it's still there on the rest of my hair after 6 washes with Head and Shoulders (trying to fade it so I can do my colour fresh for my holiday!)
