I have been thinking about using more than one colour but the thought of how to place the colours confuses me.
Ive just seen this tutorial & i wondered if anyone had tried this before? http://www.howtohairgirl.com/2012/08/peek-a-boo-color-using-the-star-pattern/
I like the idea of having a set method to try.
No, but it looks a good way. It really depends on the look you want!
Because your hair is one length, that one might not be the best way for you as it would work better with layers so you get some pretty peekaboo kind of stuff happening. The second look on the page is all you see, so you might as well do slices diagonally which would be a billion times easier to do on your own!
yes i have done this on a few people, we were taught it during my Level 3 hairdressing course. The results are really nice and its pretty easy to do
Interesting. Might try it out next time.
I agree with Janine about this being a method for layered hair but it doesn't hurt to try it on one length either.
I used this method for my current teal and blue, and am really pleased with how it turned out. It has the look of highlights, but should be much easier to touch up. I can let you know how touch up goes in a month π
I think it works so well on your hair because it's a lot longer and curly, so you get some lovely swirls π Not that I'm saying this is pointless for chin length straight bobs, but I just don't think it's the most effective.
^ That is true, I also have lots of layers. I'm not really sure how well it would work with hair that is all on length and straight. Maybe if you did 4 layers of stars alternating the colors you'd see the variances better.
