Directions Alpine and Apple Green fading after 1 wash

ok so I've never had this problem with Directions before... I dyed my hair with a mix of Alpine Green and Apple Green last week and since I only wash once or twice a week, that's not the issue here. to make matters worse, after washing it for the first time, half of the green has already come out πŸ™ I even see my natural hair colour shining through (blonde)... dafuq is this??

I use hair products from Lush, Blousey shampoo and American Cream conditioner. those are supposed to be colour safe I thought :/

the other half of my hair is black, well it should've been... I used MP Raven for that and some of it just looks brown/auburn. it didn't even take on some parts of my hair and I faded my colour before that for almost 2 weeks, got most of it out. then had it relaxed too so uhhh my hair is pretty porous. maybe the relaxing fucked it up? I dyed it 2-3 days after the treatment.

It came out really nice but now it already looks faded... I AM NOT HAPPY πŸ™ anyone had this problem before? I think I'm gonna go with Special Effects when I redye it. which will be entirely too soon to my liking. UGH.

You are using shampoos with sulphates in, which will always strip direct dyes. Even products labelled 'colour safe' will, they are not designed to stop direct dyes from washing out, they have added UV filters to help prevent permanent dyes from fading (so i have been told, there may be other differences, I don't use shampoo anymore lol.)
So switching to sulphate free products will be my first suggestion, or using conditioner instead of shampoo (CO washing.)
Chemical relaxers are very damaging, especially on bleached hair, so it could be that your hair is now too porous to hold colour. Rinsing with cold water and/or vinegar and protein treatments may help.

Also, some of Lush's conditioners contain sulphates, not just their shampoos, so you may be washing with a double-whammy of sulphates at the moment!

I also wash my hair with Lush shampoos and conditioners and I don't recognise this problem. Of course it will fade more this way than if you co wash only, but most of the colour coming out in one wash? Maybe it's what Wicked Pixie said about hair being too porous to hold colour.
