Can someone tell me the volume of the developer that is in demi permanent colors like Clairol's Natural Instincts? This product is described as being a level 2 that washes out in 28 washes. Thanks.

I have read that it comes with 20vol but with box dyes you can never really know for sure unless you contact the company directly.

High lift permanents are often 40 vol. They best way to be certain is to swap the same amount of your own developer with a known strength.
