Hello everyone! I hope you wise people can help me out here. So, I've got a little bit of brassiness in my hair as a result of henna and I can't just trim it off since it takes a big part of my length and I'm trying to grow my short hair out. I have some Stargazer blue dye left, and I was wondering if any of y'all has managed to cancel out brassy tones with semi permanent hair dye? Also, the henna is good quality and they've guaranteed me at the store that it won't react to chemical dyes.
Thank you in advance!
Stargazer won't react to it anyway. It's bleach that might react to metal salts in some henna. It makes the bleach super hot and hair will literally sizzle. But there's nothing in stargazer that would react to metal salts.
I've not done this myself exactly, but it can work. You'll want to do strand tests to get the right shade of blue though, by mixing with cheap white conditioner.
