Adore Royal Navy?

Ok, my current combo of one bottle SFX Blue Velvet with 2 jars of Directions Midnight Blue applied undiluted is perfect. Blue Velvet is too purple, Midnight Blue too green, combining makes the perfect colour. It's exactly the right colour, depth and longevity. I can apply it to light ginger/bright yellow hair, and it looks fabulous.

However, I see that Adore had a new blue. Has anyone tried it? How would it compare? I'm asking because I hear that Adore dyes stain and transfer less than the brands I'm using. Plus I'd be curious to know how it fades, it would be nice to find a perfect colour that doesn't involve me mixing like my current one, out of laziness that is, lol.

I'm not sure anyone on the forum has used it yet. Be our guinea pig! πŸ˜›

Ok, so I ordered some Royal Navy after all, didn't have much choice as Blue Velvet is out of stock yet again, so it made deciding which to go for much easier lol.

I don't think my plan to use it on its own will work though. It's more purple toned than Blue Velvet which rather surprised me, and it also looks duller. I think I will mix one bottle with two jars of Midnight Blue, so basically same as I was doing before, but I replace the Blue Velvet with Royal Navy. I just hope Adore and Directions blend well together.

I've just used a mix of Adore and directions and they mixed brilliantly - the adore made the directions easier to get through my hair and the directions made the adore less runny so it didn't drip! Perfect!

Thank you, that's good to know that they mix well. The Directions is always that bit thicker than I'd like, and I hear Adore is too runny, that's brilliant! If it turns out I like this mix it will save me ££ as well since Adore is less than half the price of SFX, and tbh I get tired of never knowing whether or not it will be in stock when I need it.
