I usually use Manic Panic's Hot Hot Pink. I've had great luck with it lasting and fading nicely. I wanted to add in purple and the MP purple fades raaapidly, so I just experimented over my pink base.
Figured I'd grab some Punky color and mix it up. ends are Flamingo Pink, mixed with purple so it's a bit darker at the top and then I used my left over MP Ultraviolet to paint in some deeper purple streaks. I'm happy with how it ended up!
