I put enough conditioner to cover my hair in a bowl, added about.. a tea spoon tips worth of directions plum, I found this far too pink so added the same amount of directions Midnight Blue. In the bowl it looked like a very blue colour, but on my hair it actually looks very similar in tone to Directions violet when that's diluted.
It was over a slightly yellowish blonde base 🙂

Thank you both! 🙂 I think some of the variations were because I originally didn't mix up enough so had to replicate it and I think I didn't quite get it the same, makes it more multi-tonal though 🙂
Love diluting dyes because it means no run off!
