purple hair AND I DONT EVEN LIKE PURPLE

If its anything like directions cerise it will fade lighter

It went from like yours now to this in a few wks (minimal washing)-(and excuse the silly photo lol)

(lighter in real light) and got brighter as it faded-it eventually ended up like the first photo (just cant find piccie)

Don't worry, it should fade within 2 weeks of normal washes (use warm water, decent shampoo etc.) and be a nice cerise/pink 🙂 Dyes always start off darker than they look on the box but usually fade to how it should be

Yours is lovely - but I share you pain - I've had so many colours not come out as expected.

The closest I've ever come to your reference pink hair photo is Directions Rose Red - but not left on for longer than 10 mins in my hair - it's really strong on mine, but comes out a gorgeous deep pink, rather than red. I had to bleach it really pale though. The best time was my first ever semi-perm dye job at age 17 (which was rose-red), I properly bleached my whole head of natural auburn hair (which put my mum in shock I dare say!) and the dye came out very much like your 1st photo.

I find dye always fades to the colour that was on my hands/shirt/bathroom sink.  Judging by that photo, I'd say within a few washes you'll have that bright pink that you're after 🙂

I'm growing to kinda like the purple though. I think I'll just wash as normal and let it fade naturally. I got a lot of compliments at my school from the kids and my colleagues- so I guess it can stay for now 🙂

my cerise was exactly like this! i was like oh no i look dead arrrghhh then i scrubbed it and it went pink 🙂

Both atomic and fuschia are purple based so it obviously brought that out when you added to atomic. Looks great though! I agree it'll fade nicely.

It's looking more pink already after the first wash, in the sun today it shone brighter than I have ever seen it 😮

Mines done the same lol, put cerise on blonde last wk, went quite a magenta colour, washed it the first time yesterday and its already pinker!!! 

I really like the purple, i tried to get it that colour but it faded really quickly 🙁

if it helps rubine red over my old blue went your exact colour of purplely pinky red and it faded to debbielous bright pink colour too in 2 weeks
