Hi guys! As you probably know I spent the best part of yesterday bleaching out the green under side of my dreads so that I could dye all of my dreads pink and add an orange touch at the ends. It took most of the day, especially as I have to work around school pick up times etc so by the time it was all done the light was no good for photo's. As it's such a beautiful day I decided to take some piccies! So here's me!
Wait up!!! Look in the top right hand corner... Who's that sneaking into my piccy? Robyn? That woman gets everywhere!
Because the dye is still fresh it's not easy to tell the diference between the orange and the pink, they're both kind of reddish coloured but a close up shows you the difference a bit better.
I'm never keen on my fresh pinkness, I always prefer the fade so in a week or so I'll be more comfortable with it. Maybe the orange will show up better then too. I'll post pics of the fade as we go along.
At the moment though I'm actually very pleased with it! It had been so long since I dyed it that the fade was really bad and it didn't look good at all. At least now I'm brighter and I match the weather!
yaaaaaaaaaaaaay! i love it matty =) im sure it'll just get prettier and prettier =)

WOO ;D
It looks really nice, your dreads are awesome! The fade's gonna be lovely too :3
Yeah I think the fade will bring out the difference between the two colours better. I like it though so I'm certainly not gonna complain.
also loving your eyebrows and tunnel =) looking schexxxy lady =)
Ahh me bright green tunnel, I lubbs it! It's getting thread worn though π Every time I take it out I dread putting it back in again because the thread's all knackered and it's a plastic one so it's only gonna get worse and the shop doesn't sell them any more - yikes! I do have a blue one that I bought at the same time but I don't lubbs it like my li'l limey. I also have glow in the dark segment rings that I put through them sometimes. Got the boring fat BCRs in today because they "ching" on the plastic. I like that.
Just to add as well: I've submitted a photo to the gallery thrugh the usual channels. I'll be writing a review on Dawn in just a sec as there isn't anything in the reviews yet.

Brilliant - have recently updated the gallery and have the next update ready to go also, but have loads more pics to be added over the coming weeks so will make sure yours is included. Thanks also for the review.
Your photo above is great BTW and I love your dreads!
It turned out great! Cant wait for the fade too!
Aw Matty ur so georgous xD i can imagine it took ages to bleach and dye your dreads, and the orange looks really cool =]
It looks really good!

It looks fabbo, really suits you,its a great combo pink & orange,be nice to see how it fades.
What mm are the bcrs in your tunnels, are the larger ones easier to fasten than little`uns,Ive never been able to fasten them wee buggers? Cos I fancy some to put through my tunnels when Im stretched up enough.

Aww thanks hun! Yeah it took most of the day. I was done at about 6pm I think, still had damp hair but all the hard work was over with by then.

Bwahaha! That's a new one, my teeth? Ok. I'm always surprised at how well pink shows on my dreads because regular dye needs light to refract the colour and make it bright. Dreads are all knitted up so light doesn't get through and the colour looks dark and flat but my pink always pings really brightly.

They're 3mm and yes they're much easier. They're tension sprung so instead of a dimpled ball that you need to line up with the ring the ring has the dimples, the ball is completely smooth and you just push it into the ring. One of mine is tougher to push in than the other but they're still much easier than regular BCR's. I have two 3mm ones threaded through a 10mm tunnel and a 12mm tunnel. The green tunnel you see in the pics is 12mm, so you get an idea of size.
Just search heavy guage BCR's and you'll usually get the tension sprung ones.
Ah wow! Your hair looks awesome, bet the fade's gonna look awesome too π
It looks great on you XD
