I'm fairly excited about this color because I've never done orange before. I've had green, purple, pink, blue, etc. Lots and lots of colors, but never orange. I love it! So I am showing it off πŸ™‚

First picture is with the flash on, and the second is in natural light with no flash.
(Really sorry about the derp faces! It's relatively early for me still)

It's very hard to get a good photo of the color, it's so bright! It's MP Electric Lava mixed with some Electric Banana to make it less red (didn't quite work), and the ends are MP Hot Hot Pink, and at the front I smeared some violet on the very tips.

The second photo where you can see the red then violet tips is stunning πŸ™‚

It's gorgeous πŸ˜€  Some of the brighter oranges start off with a reddish tone but get to their orange colour after a couple of washes ^_^

Thanks Intempestivity! That's what I was hoping for, for it to dull down the red after a few washes.

That'll definitely go orangey, Hi-Octane orange starts off that colour and after about a week or two really becomes super orange.

Looks awesome, I think it'll fade nicely πŸ˜€ It'll be like two dye jobs in one!

Oh, that's an amazing blend. I've been wondering if work would let me get away with something similar!

Going to post some pictures after a week's fade. We went to Las Vegas, NV this past weekend (my husband and I) and it was very hot and sunny so it faded a bit. I've washed it once with real shampoo, and did maybe 2 other CO washes. (My hair gets really oily unless I do one shampoo wash a week, I can't seem to find good conditioners for my CO washes)

Here they are!
I'm thinking about touching it up with electric banana and a tad of the orange mixed in, and putting more purple on the ends.

First photo is in natural light with flash. Second is in natural light no flash, and the third is in natural light with flash.

Trader joes has good conditioner etc amazing ingredients list, I love tea tree tingle but the other is probably better for color saving,no harsh ingredients and inexpensive. Love your color!!!
