(More pics to follow. Got none of the final colours, dry, with the new brown.)
As I (think I) said in my ideas thread, I ended up going for three colours on the bottom half of my head, instead of two, because I couldn't decide. I used Atomic Turquoise (MP) on the left, Partytime Pink (BtZ) in the middle, and Ultra Violet (MP) on the right. Oh, and also some Ion Medium Brown to cover up the crap on the top. π
I have an aftercare question, though: how can I keep my brights their brightest? It's gettin' a little greasy up in here. Would clarifying shampoo help at all?
Now to check on vinegar rinses...
[Attached pic is before brown and colours done but semi-dry.]
claryfying shampoo will strip the veggie dyes out. so i would suggest eith going sls free with shampooor going poo free with conditioneronly washing. i personally am poo free & i can get a good 5/6 days between washes. i learnt how to on theo's blog

for sls free shampoos, look in the FAQ or there's a shampoo thread in general hair chat me thinks. i loved osmo before going CO. also boots sell a brand called naked, which others have had success with
Ooooh I just forgot which way the clarifying helped with as I was just researching how to fade. Boots is a bit far for me, but I will have a look at the link, thanks! π
Looking good!
And yeah, the best way to keep the colour is SLS free shampoo (I love, love, love my Osmo) or conditioner only washing. You can also use a dry shampoo (available at any superdrug, tesco, asda, etc--batiste is best) to keep the grease at bay between washes.
I vote Osmo colour mission too, Naked didn't really feel like it had cleaned my hair. And also "poo free" made me chuckle to myself
Hah yeah took me a while to figure out what "poo-free" meant. XD
