I'm also a big fan of deathrock styles, which are very 80s-inspired. (In case it wasn't obvious from my death-hawk, haha!)

@creamsoda, unfortunately I have very few photos from then, mostly due to being stroppy, camera-shy teenager at the time. 🙂 I am going to my parents house next week, I will see if I can dig any out.
I also had a hairdo similar to those death-hawks, but we didn't have the sideburns back in my day, and we always crimped lol. Crimping was the key to getting the height, we would crimp, then backcomb, spray, and then crimp the hairspray in. Definitely have a pic of that somewhere.

for a night out once i had a friend who scrapped back all my hair at the sides and teased, back combed and hair sprayed the life out of my hair in to a Mohawk for me, it was HUGE 😀

I soooo want an undercut n big 80's hair! However I really suck at doing anything with my hair style
