Going from blue(or any colour) to silver.
So I started off with my hair this colour
(excuse the curls, had just uninstalled dreads)
I then tried to strip as much colour as possible by using hot water, head & shoulders, cheap shampoo and fairy washing up liquid. Also read this for more tips

once I’d removed as much colour as I could I then used a blonde dye (in hind sight this was a BAD idea, my hair was ruined as was damaged more than I thought to start off with, you can read about that here)

it’s seriously good stuff! I haven’t even used any silver dye! Is soooooooooooooo good!

I’d only left the shampoo on for a minute this time. But you can still see how good it is.

just curious how long do you usually leave in that brand of silver shampoo im currently leaving it on my hair 5 mins but its loreal silver shampoo wish my hair was your colour!
i put it on for 1/2 hour when i was first trying to achieve silver. did 45mins &it went lilac =s lolz.

I'm jealous! I want silver hair but I'm a bit scared for my hair since I'm trying to grow it out. I might try gray, though.
this was probably not you intention but this how-to with that photo is the BEST ad for that shampoo… it's so good that even though Im months aways from needing it I ran to add it to my amazon wishlist… gorgeous color!!! 😀
