to get back to my current pink if I dyed my hair purple?
I love my pink hair but I'm really bored of it and want to change it, at least for a while. They only thing that's stopping me is I'm afraid that I wouldn't be able to get back to my current colour without frying my hair, that's why I wimped out on dyeing my hair brown.

What kind of shade, tone and depth of purple? Go for a pink based one and it'll fade pink anyway.

I really love how Punky Colour purple looks (though I would probably add a little blue), but I can't find it. Is there an alternative to it in the UK?

SFX Pimpin Purple (or deep purple when it comes back in) both fade pink. Have you thought about just putting some blue over the pink to create a pastel purple? See if you like it before committing to a dark purple? I think you will struggle to get back to a pastel pink after going that dark.
