Exoskeletal I had to scrape ice off the car this morning! It's getting ridiculous!

I don't mean to laugh, but lol I totally relate! The last few years I've had the same problem. Bowels are useless. In fact, along with periods, I feel like they're the strongest argument against intelligent design and for messy evolution!

Yeah, I think I do too. I have to go and get a diagnosis.. and yes, I'm putting it off because of all the probing that'll happen... but it matches so well with my mum's symptoms and all my friends that have IBS (seems like 50% of people have it!) so I'm pretty sure that's what it is. I realise that I've probably had it on and off for all my life as I suffered a lot as a child and in my 20s. The pain sometimes when I get constipated is enough to make me curl up in a ball and weep... only I can't because I'm on the loo lol I just used to assume everyone got the same!

I'm lucky that mine is quite mild. I swing between constipation and the runs and get the occasional  nasty cramp, but I'm not in pain most of the time (my main issues are *TMI* gas and mucus). My mum suffers dreadfully pretty much all the time 🙁

Oh god the gas! Yeah, woman don't fart... that's definitely not true in my case, I'm constantly holding on! It's the most embarrassing bit as you're just not supposed to, ugh. I hate social interaction lol

OMG, you girls, I am DYING... LOLing because I can absolutely relate.  The gas... it's become quite the joke in our house... because I just can't hold it in.  I'd EXPLODE for sure.  I haven't been properly dx'd with IBS, but I have all the tell-tale symptoms.  The gas, bloating, mucus and constipation are the worst.

Yes, LOL... this.  😀

Another sufferer here too! I feel so sorry for my boyfriend :(. At least I know for sure he's a keeper for putting up with it!

I'm glad my husband can laugh with me... because if we didn't laugh, well, it would just be completely embarrassing all the time!  ::)

My husband has it too! He's the only bloke I know with it actually. We could probably power the whole of Nottingham with the amount of wind we produce...

I have the nasty cramps at the moment. Bah.

*rofl*  That made me bust out laughing!!!

🙁  But I'm sorry to hear that... *hugs*

We went for a walk last night.  Something I ate didn't agree with me and I could feel the pressure from the bloating.  I thought I would bust it got so bad.  Then I ended up with the kind of cramps that make your skin white and give you chilled sweats.  🙁  It just sucks.

lol you power your neck of the woods, we'll power ours! I was teeerrible yesterday too, I was parping all around the supermarket and blushing constantly! I had my headphones on so I can only hope they were silent, but thank heavens they didn't smell!

Lee and I just give the other a look if we fart and say "oh you are disgusting!" and then he sticks his tongue out and me and I stick my fingers up at him 😀 I'm going to have to delete this at some point! Can't have customers finding me going on about farting if they're looking for my headbands! SO glad I didn't go with my full name for this board...

Hahaha! I suffer with wind as well, I'm constantly parping at work, but luckily, most of the time it's silent and non-smelly, just releasing air really! My husband makes comments about it, but he can't really complain, since his diet (for powerlifting training) means he eats loads of high protein food and farts constantly too!  And his really do smell!  So we both put up with each other! Haha!

I have IBS too - mostly pain and cramps and bloating but I get all of the above symptoms too (it's so embarrassing!) I found Enteric coated peppermint tablets really seem to help, and as rubbish as it is exercise is helping too. It is ridiculous how many people have digestion problems these days!
