I'm really quite miserable I'm afraid. My ear is mostly better, but I don't think it's properly better so i'll need some more pills. My cold sore is getting better, but so itchy as its healing. My cold is getting a bit worse everyday, no coughing thankfully, but painfully blocked nose and sinuses that refuse to unblock. I now have period pains, came on a week early! And also a mouth ulcer as of this morning, on the side of my tongue where I will certainly accidentally bite it.

Last day packing today and there's so much left to do. 🙁

I'm feeling generally bitter today cos it's mother's day and everyone is posting nice crap about their mums, but my mum is shit and I hate her. I feel bad about both those statements, because people should appreciate their nice mums but I'm just feeling rather selfish and resentful, which makes me feel like a bad person but right now I really can't help it :s
I then tried to think of all the people who's mums have passed on and how they must be feeling sad too, so I tried to put some positive thoughts towards them and how brave they must be feeling today, but then I had a not nice realisation that I would much rather have had a lovely mum who passed away than a horrible mum that was still alive, because at least that way I would have lovely memories and whatever... But then I felt like a bitch for thinking that and now I'm just sitting here feeling like a horrible person and ranting here because noone else is awake /end miserable rant

Hugs to everyone feeling down etc. Mine is just a little thing to moan about. I hate waiting for people (certain people in particular) to reply to a text message even though it wasn't anything important etc and I know this person often takes hours to reply but it still plays on my mind and I have to keep checking my phone to see if there is a message even though it is right next to me. It is distracting me so much and I just wish it didn't bother me so much and I could forget about it (and them) for a while. I know, such a small issue but it is bugging me and I wanted a rant. And I know when I do get a text message, my heart pretty much leaps into my throat and then I feel silly for reacting so strongly to a text message that isn't even that important. Isn't anxiety fun? :/
(Not helping having a head ache and sore wrist that painkillers didn't help with and having uni work to do that I cant be bothered with) sigh

Meeshy thats great news! Fingers crossed they do the right thing and give you a refund! They're daft for behaving this way though - that's a whole forum of hair addicts who won't be buying any of their products in the future after what they did to you!

Martha you're not being silly - your relationship only recently ended, it's totally normal that you would be feeling lonely - but you need to remind yourself you're not alone, you have your friends around you. You will need time to grieve for the relationship, but it will get better - even though I know it doesn't feel like it now. *hugs*

Having issues trying to figure out what arrangement to put my rainbow in this time... 🙁 First world problems, lmao.

Meeshy it's great that you're using your common sense with it and making sure they don't try to rip you off again. xD Such a shame they were sucky in the first place, though...

I second what xxRaaxx said, Martha. She hit the nail on the head.

I was going to moan about something else that's taking a big toll on me lately, but I just don't feel like it would be right for me to unload it all here as well. I have people I can talk to, so that's good.
I'm coping surprisingly well emotionally, but the stress of it all is really beating me down. :/ If I only had one wish I'd wish for this to go away.

Gonna go read the Good Vibrations thread to make me feel better now. <3 eheheh

Evie's got really bad skin, and it looks like it's definitely eczema to me and lots of people who see her. Anyway, she's been to the doctor before (last year) and they said it's just really bad dry skin, so we apply e45 every day, she doesnt have bubbles or anything at bathtimes etc. But it's got so much worse this past few weeks and where it used to just cover her arms, it's now all over her face, red and the skin is cracking, it's itchy for her and she just keeps crying because it's sore 🙁

I took her to the doctors the other day, and this woman was so horrid! She didnt make eye contact with me at all when I was trying to explain everything, she barely looked Evie over and when she did she was so rough that Evie shouted out "ouch!", and then she said "well it's just dry skin." and proceeded to tell me off for wasting a doctors time! She was SUCH a cowbag to me that I was shocked into silence! I wouldn't take hours out of my day to sit around in a doctors surgery waiting room if it wasn't important, and I don't think my 3year old being seen is a waste of time.
Honestly don't see how it's just dry skin. She's in pain with it 🙁 Anyway, managed to get her a prescription for eczema lotion stuff to put onher skin everyday but it's not helping so far 🙁

Awwh poor Evie! Doctors can be horrible! I get quite bad psoriasis and found that when I get a small flare up (more like eczema) whacking on so coconut oil helps! It leaves a soothing (but oily) barrier aswell which helps to stop the itching! Its worth a try if you happen to have some!

I was quite badly burnt a few weeks ago. Part of the scar treatment is a cream called QV. It's honestly brilliant, very moisturising, it says can be used for lots of dry skin conditions. It's pretty expensive to buy but my gp prescribes is so might be worth you trying? This is a link if you're interested

When my son had eczema, the only thing that helped was Oilatum junior bath. You just add a cap full in the bath and you can use it neat if needed. I hope you find something that helps her.

Oilatum is reay good - I have Eczema, so is the Aveeno stuff you can buy in boots. E45 makes my eczema flare up randomly! (as do most "dry skin" creams) so I stick to Simple normally. The thing that makes mine the worst though is biological washing powder 🙁 if my housemate uses it and then I do my washing after her using non bio the residue in the washer is enough to cause mine to flare up!

Also though - ask to see a different doctor, that woman sounds like an absolute b*tch (excuse my French!) Eczema is really horrid - poor Evie 🙁

Glitter, Boots do an excellent range for eczema/dry skin called Derma Care, the best part is it's really cheap!
I've also found Sudocrem really good for my eczema, E45 does nothing for me and never has!
But definitely try the Boots stuff, I use the emollient cream everyday on areas that flare up and it helps control them but it also helps flare ups settle down quickly

It's all on 3 for 2 as well 🙂

If you do see another doctor don't let them give you aqueous cream on prescription as it contains SLS which thins the skin and make the eczema worse D:

Hope that helps!

personally I think you should put in a complaint about that doctor, they are there to help people not to behave like that and she should be stopped. I once had strange dry, itchy sore patches that randomly appeared on my skin and no creams etc helped, then I started taking anti histamines for hayfever and it cleared up right away so could maybe try children's anti histamines if nothing else works? good luck
