Naomi- I'd go straight to your doctor and get a note outlining your medical needs and bring it to the teacher you would trust to most to actually take care of things for you. Keep a copy of the note for your own records. Luckily, I never had a teacher disbelieve my medical stuff, but I would want someone with authority on my side when I fought them on it.

My moans? I have a tender eye. The laptop I'm trying to sell wouldn't clean properly, so I had to remove everything separately, and I'm worried that my stupid computer will be the one bought by the tech-savvy bastard who can ruin my already crappy life. My dad is probably in the beginning stage of Alzheimer's. And my awesome cousin and her wife couldn't find my preferred coneless hair products, so they bought something that looked similar, but has cones in the shampoo as well as the conditioner! My hair feels gross, but beggars can't be choosers.

Naomi,

Yes I would talk to the head teacher if I were you. That or have your parents talk to them. They need to know that he is not caring for students in an emergency situation and that's downright scary.

Thanks for the advice 🙂

I'm going to get a doctor's note on Monday as I have an appointment anyway, so I'm probably either not taking part in P.E. until my regular teacher comes back (which is really soon, apparently!) or going to our head of year. I'll talk to her about whether or not I should take part and if she could maybe talk to that teacher for me. Also, a few people from my class are going to talk to the head teacher tomorrow because we're not following the curriculum for P.E. anymore, so I'll ask them to mention it as well.
I'm pretty sure this will get resolved at some point because pretty much everyone has a complaint after only 3 classes with him.

Naomi he was probably worried about leaving the other students who were still doing exercises alone as I'm sure he would have got into more trouble for that. I don't understand what you would have wanted him to do? Leave you cos you think he's a 'peado' or stay with you because you think it's against the law for him to go?

I think he could have just left my friend to stay with me instead of just sending me back to the class - if someone doesn't feel well during any other class, they can go outside with another student looking after them and I don't see why he seemed to think that was unreasonable (we weren't working in pairs/groups, so it would have been okay for her to stay with me).
Though I do understand that he couldn't leave 20+ students alone in the gym!

Any Old Actress- I am so very sorry about your dad. On top of everything else you're dealing with as well. 🙁  Can't offer advice on your laptop, but if you like, I can check and see if your cone-free products are available near me and post them to you. Just tell me what they are, and I'll have a look. xx

Thanks, CrazyBlueMe, but I'm in the states! I'm just going to go with them next time I need it. I can live with plastic Barbie hair for a little while. It's not like I'll have much of a social life while waiting for my disability benefits to come through. The stuff they chose does smell great, and the bottle is fun to read! And my cousin's wife is going to give my laptop a look before I brave to bus to the pawnshop. I complain too much about stuff. I just need to pull myself together.

I'm having one of those day when kind words make me melt...

A lot of people have had this problem, I've noticed a few cases of people proving that they're not using it and getting a refund - if you haven't used it since your initial application, maybe this would help you?

I did that too, I called up amazon and said that it was an honest mistake and they paid me back.

Yeah its worth mentioning it to them, I did the same and forgot about it but when they found out that I didn't really want it I got a refund and they stopped it straight away 🙂

I'm moaning because at work they took the 2nd member of staff off on a friday night so I have to do it by myself now (I'm sure I shouldnt be, a whole off licence and three tills and two safes full of my money by myself :S)  Its rubbish cos we got on well and I enjoyed the company and the help. Anyways this is the first week I've done without him and I was twice as busy than I've ever been and took way more money than usual. Sods law!

Robyn, I used to work in threshers way back when I was in college, they were just starting to introduce single-manning on quieter midweek evenings while I was there, I dread to think what it must be like in a busy store on a Friday night! I HATED locking up by myself, you have my sympathies!

My moan is the spot in my chin which has appeared overnight. It's roughly the size of Guatemala and it's throbbing like a biatch 🙁

Got sent home from work after an hour and I can't work for two more weeks because of the note my GP gave me. Work was my chance to feel like a human being again, even for a day. Now I feel disabled, hopeless and disappointed. I don't know what to do. Almost cried when my manager told me. It's probably for the best and they seemed genuinely concerned about me which was nice, but now I want to curl in a ball and cry.
