A lot of people just want somebody to shout at, and unfortunately they think it's acceptable to do that to you.
Yeah, retail is about the worst job at times. I'm glad to be out of it.
Well, sort of... I'm glad I have very little contact with customers anyway! I've got some issues right now which I can't repeat on a public forum...
I have to admit though. I found myself moaning at the girl in the post office the other day. Nothing she could do about it either. And it was half my error. Half the weird set of countries that the Airsure service covers and the fact that sometimes they don't show up. I was sure Norway would be one, but nope, got home and checked and they don't have a faster (by a day!) service to Norway.
Unfortunately, none of my moans today can go in public. So I'll stick to this... I'm miserable today with the combination of poo at the moment. Some of which is on the unreasonable side for me to be angry at... but tough, I'm angry at it lol
I'm grumpy cause I just went christmas shopping and people are just so rude at this time of year! I had Evie with me and the amount of times she got pushed out of the way or bopped on the head by shoppers bags was crazy. And then Evie decided she'd had enough at just screamed at every person that looked at her, yikes. And it was so hot in HMV that I nearly passed out and had to leave.
I've just got home and now have to go to the post office, boooo
Ugh, that would turn me into a mega monster at the moment! lol
Poor Evie. Poor you! I won't go xmas shopping now. Everything is online for me these days. I hated working the xmas season so much I stay a million miles away from shops. And in shops I worked where the xmas season wasn't a big deal, like fabric shops, it was BORING!
I've told Chris that anything else can be ordered online, I can't take it lol! We don't go crazy at christmas luckily so I don't have to spend lots of time shopping. Kids get a 'main' present each and then fun novelty stuff and crafty stuff. We're trying to teach them to be appreciative of the things they get
There were an awful lot of aggresive shoppers out today though, where's the spirit of goodwill and all that?! lol
Evie was just happy that she got a sausage roll and a chance to go on "the moving steps" (escalator)
When I was in Bristol, I did one xmas in John Lewis in Cribbs Causeway not long after it opened. That was horrible! And the sales after, the escalator was so full that it was jerking as it moved. It was quite terrifying to watch.
Were you at Cribbs today, or the town centre? Mind you, that's all changed since I was last there! I think it's about 9 years now :O
the town centre, but we have Cabots Circus now so people flock there! Although we went to Cribbs last week, and got trapped in john lewis! there was a fire drill and they closed the entire mall but kept john lewis open as its got one of the big revolving doors, and everyone was filtering in and we couldn't get out - nightmare!
I'm not a fan of shops at all!
I hate shopping, I'm not a browser I'm too much of an In-Out person which means I find people absent mindedly browsing and getting in my way a tad annoying at times.
Clothes shopping I rrreeaaallly hate though, I find high street shops really hard just because I have silly hair and don't follow fashion.
What an absolutely s**t day today!!! Everything was swimming along fine, we bought a car last Friday, got hammered on the insurance (Lester has had his license for 15 years and it's clean, but he hasn't driven for 7 years and the online quotes we got didn't say anything about this, when we rang the insurance company with our reference no to take out the quote, it suddenly doubled in price and our deposit was £100 more than we were expecting to pay, which meant that we can't yet afford to buy our residents parking permit and are forced to pay for parking every day until we can - but that's not today's moan, that's an entirely different story!), so we've been forced to budget tightly at the moment. All the bills are budgeted for, but then BT took nearly £100 out of our account today when they weren't supposed to! I originally had the direct debit set up for the 5th of the month, but last month I changed it to the 26th, and got an email confirming this, so I didn't expect to have a payment taken out today. But it was taken out anyway. So now we're over our overdraft limit, which we'll now get charged daily for, Lester's phone bill direct debit won't come out tomorrow, so his phone might get cut off until Tuesday next week when we can pay it by debit card, and our Lovefilm payment has been refused because the money wasn't there when they tried to take a debit card payment. I am fuming right now! We have had nothing but problems with BT when it comes to payments! They're fine in terms of phone/internet service, but for the entire six years we've been with them, every payment has been a nightmare!!!
Thanks everyone <3 🙂
I've started trying to kill grumpy customers with kindness, as of today it's working lol
I'm about to embark on some major life upheaval and I'm pooping my pants at the prospect 🙁
Got a much lower mark than I wanted on my essay. Big self esteem crash imminent. Supposed to go out but now I want to lock myself in my room and not see anyone.
I got a racist comment from a professor today!
being stuck in the house really gets me down, especially this time of year. I wanna be out christmas shopping. 🙁
Dylan's come over all poorly 🙁 he was fine when he went to bed at 7 but I heard him crying just now and he was sobbing his heart out saying he feels poorly 🙁 but he wont take any calpol or anything. He's gone back to sleep now, will keep an eye on him but I doubt he'll be going to school tomorrow
