Ruby, how frightening.  Did they catch him?

Yeah, they arrested him outside my local shop, I was at the cash point where he got caught literally about half an hour before he was arrested :/ He's been Charged with assault and attempted murder 🙁 It's scary when it's right on your doorstep.

ugh, feel so down =[ Went home for the weekend, got my new kitten who is AMAZING! But I also needed to do so much work for uni and a commission I have. My mum went to the Good Food Show in Birmingham so it was just me and my dad, I thought I'd have plenty of time to do my work. but ooohh noo, he made me drive him round all day saturday so he could stop of and see people, have a drink then on to the next place. We were out for a few hours. By the time I got home, all I wanted to do was lie down with the kittens ( my body aches all over from physio friday night) Then he wanted me to cook him tea, which I did, gave it to him then he promptly fell asleep in his dinner and hardly ate any. I went to bed cos i was feeling rough and didnt sleep too well. Then, got woken up in the morning my the dogs whining and scratching at the door cos my dad couldnt be bothered to let them out into the garden. Then I had to pack up my stuff and drive back up to Nottingham. Just got back. Im so tired, my body hurts and work is the last thing I wanna do =[ wahhhhh =[

sorry to keep on about my diet! But I'm so frustrated and discouraged right now. Apparently I haven't been eating enough calories to lose mostly fat, I've been losing mostly muscle. So I feel like the last 4 months have been a waste.

Yesterday I gave in and went to Primark. It was so over crowded with people christmas shopping, ques were insane. My husband went into "me man,me grumpy when in shop" mode because of how crowded and how rude people are in there.
But the kids needed new pajamas and we're pretty skint right now.

Lesson learned - you get what you pay for.
The brand new pj's I bought Evie have ALREADY ripped!

Sorry for going on and on about the move, but ugh.
I'm completely exhausted, I have bruises all over my arms and legs and my arms & back are so sore I can barely move. And we're not even finished.
On top of that, I still have exams and my best friend diagnosed herself with anorexia because "I'm never hungry!" Oh. Okay.

Living with a schizophrenic with insomnia means that I never get to sleep. Plus, I had to sneak out the back door while he was smoking out front just to have breakfast with my friend. I'm here for less than 2 weeks. I'd like to spend time with people who matter without having to babysit someone who is coming with me...

My moan and my happy thought are intertwined today. I started a Christmas temp job at *an unnamed giant online retailer* almost 3weeks ago and it is REALLY amazing. I love the people and the policies regarding customers are great so rarely have any issues with them.
I got my performance report today and the score was brilliant so i was really chuffed.

THEN (lol always a then or a but with good things)

A customer rings me about something that was due for delivery today. Unless there are special circumstances there's nothing that can really be done until a certain (customer specific) date. Usually a week later.
Most customers are understanding as they are relying on royalmail etc and they have mostly had free delivery anyway so who can complain about 1 or 2 days (so i thought!!)

This guy went absolutely balistic and ranted at me for about 10 minutes straight without stopping for air about how he *should* of had the thing 2days after ordering it, how i must be hand delivering it, how id ruined his buisness and cost him a fortune in a missed contract etc.

Obv understand the guys frustration and try to stop him there and offer a replacement early as a 1time exception and upgrade the delivery. But Nooooooooo he just wants to scream and scream so after another 10 minutes of this i have been waiting with my red sign up to have a mentor help me as i am being completely drowned in all this and no one sees me 🙁

so i just have to try and keep going. eventually i end up bursting into tears on the phone and THEN they notice i need help. typical lol by the time they got there they hadn't even manage to plug into the call when he'd finished calling me every name under the sun and hung up.

So not only was it horrible, embarassing and mean but i ended up looking like a total tit at my new job and at least 10 people saw and even more knew as the incident was noted on the customers file.

poop 🙁

Han customers are s**t. If they didn't exist in retail then the job would be better!! Haha (not totally true, some of the, are amazing but we're not talking about that now!!) I have had many customers screaming in my face (I work in a phone shop) about s**t things like the mast has gone down near them and they (and hundreds of others...who are sane and don't scream at me) can't get signal, they literally think I can fix it...as in go there and fix it. As in be an engineer and fix it. ERM NO DIE.
Basicallyyyyy what I'm trying to say is as soon as they raise their voice, make one tinyyyy insult like 'well that's pure laziness' they are out of there. I tell them I'm not serving them anymore and they can leave, then walk off. Next time it happens hang up that phone! f**k it. You don't get paid enough for that!! (I tell customers I'm not paid enough to be spoken to like that haha) as soon as you do it they're like oh :/:/ honestly I've had numerous adult men (who have had a hissy fit in my face) go out the shop, think about what theyve done, come back and apologise and even bring me cake from cooplands haha! I say thank you, I appreciate it, but I'm still not prepared to serve you (that's if they've really pissed me off, I can be an utter bitch)
Your supervisors will understand, they will have had it too numerous times, it's just not nice at all the first time it makes you feel horrid and you think about it for ages. Ramble ramble ramble haha

I hate customers this time of year, they just go mental with the stress/pressure of christmas. Retails one of the worst jobs during the season.

ah yeah, people can just be insane, especially around Christmas. When I worked in a shop, I had this whole family screaming in my face (while I was 8 months pregnant!) because they thought someone had pushed in the line infront of them! They seem to forget that they're talking to a human being

Aw, Han, I used to work in customer services and people really are s**t!  I've seen even the most seasoned CS workers who've been doing the job for decades break down after a bad one.
