If he's a paedophile, surely he'd be not able to teach and in prison? :/

If only :/
He touches people inappropiately all the time (my friend's sister said that he just walked into the changing rooms one day as well), but he says he's just helping them with whatever they're doing, and the headteacher doesn't want to make a fuss about it, plus our school's understaffed anyway.
My mum said that I'm not going to P.E. while he's there though, and if I get in trouble for it, she's gonna talk to the headteacher.

That is terrible!! If he's doing that he needs to be reported, it's not right. If my daughter had a teacher like that I'd report them like a shot, what if something bad happened that could have been prevented. I feel awful for you, I'd hate to have a teacher like that 🙁

that's disgusting. There was a teacher like that in my sisters school about 10ish years ago, he was reported but he continued to teach there up until he died 2 years ago.

my moan is kind of stupid and will probably make me seem ungrateful, but I'm getting a bit tired of being called adorable and cute by people. Those are words that people use to describe a puppy or a kitten, being called adorable makes me feel like a child. It was fine when I was in my teens but I'm 23 now. :/

If you genuinely think he is, then don't go to your head teacher, go to the police. You will need a lot of evidence so write every incident down and take it with you. He shouldn't be teaching or near minors at all if he is what you say he is. You need to tread carefully though, because the career and life of a nice man (who i knew) was ruined just because of a rumour.

What Meeshy is saying is absolutely true!  Be very careful about making these kinds of accusations officially, and be absolutely, 100% sure that he is a genuine paedophile before you accuse him.  All it takes is an accusation to ruin someone's life, as even if it's disproved, once the accusation has been made, it can never be taken back!  But on the other hand, if he is actually a genuine paedophile, then no, he shouldn't be allowed to be anywhere near children, let alone teaching them!

Yeah I knew someone who was falsely accused. Actually I think it was because someone had put something like he 'looks like' a peadophile on myspace (back in the day) and it snowballed. He wasn't, at all, He was just a geeky guy who was very quiet and nervous around people. They seized his computers, he got fired from his job because he worked near children, his wife left him and his children were taken away - and then they realised he infact wasnt what they had been told, but the damage to his life and reputation was done.

There is a massive difference between maybe seeming pervy, and being a peadophile...

But if you have proof, no doubt you should be talking to the police.

Post-essay-finishing-eleation blues. It's kind of like Christmas or something, it all gets so exciting / nerve wracking that when it's finished everything feels like a bit of an anticlimax and my life feels like it has a massive void in it where frantic essay writing used to be... T^T

I feel something similar to this with the creative writing projects I do. Frustrated yet excited at the planning, enjoying the creation of the piece, then when it's all over and done with it feels strange, like abandonment almost 🙂 Although luckily I don't dwell on it for too long, as I have a whole list of projects ready to undertake, so I can start a new one the instant the previous is finished if I so choose 🙂

Thank you so much for the advice everyone!
I've decided not to report him because it might not have been on purpose - I probably just overreacted because having P.E. with a different teacher made me really anxious (my usual teacher is a really nice woman who mostly gives grades based on how motivated you are, but the teacher before that bullied me because I'm really bad at P.E., so I dreaded that class!)
However, if something like this happens again, I'm going to go to the head teacher because the guy was reported before, so they'd probably at least talk to him this time.

ew naomi that guy sounds gross.. defos tell someone next time cause if he's doing weird pervy things with your class, no doubt he'll be doing it in others and if enough people see it and complain the more likely something will get done about it. in your situation i'd just not do P.E and the reason would be that the guy makes you feel uncomfortable and you can't be forced to do something that makes you feel like that (it's P.E for god sake, it's not like it's a big deal anyway i skipped 3 years of P.E classes haha so if the headteacher is arsey about not doing it then i'm sure your mum can sort it)

EDIT: forgot to add le moan..

today is my last shift of running food at work 🙁 i'm kinda sad i guess, gunna miss the few 'friends' i made, well, 2, but, they're always fun to work with... i'll still see them occassionally when they come into the kitchen but i don't think we have many shifts at the same time as eachother cause i'm working every weekend up to january and then the odd shift in the week.. bah!
just hope the potwashers i'm getting put on with (they've made sure i'm always on with someone for now while i get the hang of it) are nice to me, one of the guys is usually a laugh but the other guy is really sarcy.. but saying that, nearly all of the kitchen staff are arses sooo.. ah..

Poh, I wouldn't be surprised that when you're "one of them" you'll be fine 😀 You'll probably have a laugh with them.

I woke up too late and now I'm going to miss the post today. Bugger.

I think I'm experiencing a very rare hangover. I literally hardly ever get one so this is a weird and not nice feeling 😛
