this is honestly why I think everyone should do one weeks work experience in a shop every year!!

That and restaurants! I worked in 2 different restaurants for almost 5 years and I've never known rudeness like it, especially when you have to ID somebody. I can think of 2 occasions that actually caused the customer to complain to my manager when I was fully right. Once, an NHS worker didn't have her photo ID but gave me her special NHS card which apparently you don't get till you're over 25 but without working in the NHS I wouldn't know that so when I refused her alcohol she complained and the manager did give in but I wasn't happy about it. Another time a girl tried to use her BABY as ID...I probably should have been more careful with my wording than 'you can have babies from about 13, that absolutely does not count' but she gave me a stupid response so why not give one back 😛

I have a cold so I can't taste or smell anything. At least it might help me lose weight...

Katiezz - Sounds like you are having a tough time, it sucks when things like that pile up on you, hoping it will start getting better soon.

Glitterpix - So disappointing when that happens, especially if it was something you were looking forward to. Hope you don't stay ill for long.

I am frustrated because I feel like I wasted my day off doing nothing. Was going to go to the gym for the first time so I was super nervous about going (doing new/different things can be nerve wracking) but ended up not going anyway because I spent ages sorting out other things and then realised I don't have the right clothes to go and didn't have time to go get anything as well as go to the gym.

I am fed up of having bad skin no matter what I try to do to help it, I managed for a while to not pick at my skin as much but in the last few days I keep seeing all the bad bits I am trying to get rid of not going away so I end up picking anyway and making it worse which in turn makes me feel worse about it... *sigh*

Also realised that I have now been single for over a year and despite the things I love about being single it still feels a bit of a bummer it having been so long since someone was mutually interested.

Sooo gross, I was fussing Bella and panicked that I could feel a bit of a lump by her back leg so I pushed all of her masses of fur out of the way and she had a HUGE black head...! I thought 'Oh, I'll just squeeze this with a cotton wool pad' thinking they'd just be like a blackhead that we get and no, 100% not. I had to squeeze LOADS and then she fidgeted so I couldn't find it again once I'd got my tweezers so I'm going to have to find it when I get home. I didn't even know dogs could get them but it was ridiculously disgusting and it just didn't seem to get smaller. Gross dog.

I'm not sure if it's acne you're dealing with, I know this sounds overly dramatic but this stuff literally changed my life lol:
http://www.repechage.com/professional-products/acne-skin-care/

I have had horrible skin since I was 9-10 and started puberty. I tried every single product from the drug store, department stores, the dermatologist...absolutely NOTHING worked. I got a travel size kit of this stuff in 2008 and within a month at the most my skin was perfectly clear, and the scars that I had were so much lighter and less noticeable, you could barely even tell I had any at all. I would tell people I've always had acne prone, combination skin and they wouldn't believe me! I used this stuff for a good year and gradually stopped one product at a time and my skin has still been completely normal ever since. I never thought I would ever get compliments on my skin but I do, and I really owe it all to Repechage. I love that it balanced my skin out, but that it also took away my scars that I'd had for years. The hydra medic is great for oily or combination acne prone skin, the mask that's in it I really think is what aided in the scars though. I've used all of the other lines they carry for different skin types on clients over the years and every single one is great. I have never found anything that even compares to this brand, I've seen it help so many different people with various skin types/problems and just can't rave about it enough. They do make travel sized kits which those usually last a month to a month and a half. Most of the products in their full size are more expensive now then they were back in 2008, ranging from about $25-$40 I think.

Sorry to go off topic a bit, I just really wanted to share this brand for you because not only did it change my skin, but it made me more confident because of it, less shy, and I actually love my skin because of it. A huge change from hating my skin, getting depressed over it and made fun of for almost half of my life because of my skin. I haven't seen this brand NOT work for anyone, ever.

Edit to add:
You can buy it from their website now which is awesome! You used to have to have a professional license # to order anything, yay I'm so glad they are making it more available to people!

Having problems with one of my snakebite piercings, they had both just about healed and the bars about to be downsized when I caught one of them and it's swollen up almost to the size it went when originally pierced 🙁

katiesiepierski -  Thank you for the advice and recommendation, it is not acne thank fully, hard to describe but its more lots of blackheads and red bumps etc, and just an overall bad skin look (haha I suck at describing things.) I got recommended NO7 melting cleanser so am trying that along with trying my best not to touch my face so it is mostly down to willpower at the moment (which often fails me).

I have been wanting to get a new tattoo and piercing for a while now but have told myself I want to donate blood again first, problem is the last time I felt really ill half way through and nearly fainted, I have a good idea why it happened and know how to help prevent it happening again but it has put me off so much that I am scared to go back.

Am also hating the feeling that I don't get much time away from work, it work regular full-time hours but it feels like I am always there and never have time to myself.

.

Red bumps on the skin can sometimes be caused by anaemia. I used to get it around my nose until i got a blood test done and now i take multivitamins with added iron and it has completely disappeared. It does come back if i forget to take my vitamins 2days in a row though.

Thanks for the advice everyone.
New moan - it is my day of work and I am meeting someone later so I dyed my hair last night and was so excited that I am going back to how I like my hair. For some reason the colour didnt take properly on top of my head so some bits are darker than others and I made more of a mess than usual and despite using coconut oil on my ears and hairline etc I am still covered in dye that is refusing to come off. I am going to have to spend most of my day of applying more dye and scrubbing at my skin 🙁

Sorry your hair didn't work out well 🙁 But if you apply he dye again it should come out less patchy. I hope you manage to get it off your ears!

My moan is that I went to a genetics lecture today at uni and I didn't understand it at all. I'm getting really worried about my summer exams now.

Hair is getting more and more greenish the more I wash. I think it's the Indigo coming through, this stuff is awful :/

The new black dye I ordered was delivered yesterday when I wasn't there, will be delivered again today and I'll be at work, why can't they just leave it in front of the door :/ Not like my neighbours would steal a packet of haircolour lol. Hope I can get it somehow and dye today... and hope it lasts a bit longer this time.
