I have to give an hour long lecture and take two seminars first thing tomorrow morning and I haven't even written the lecture/slide show yet. UGHH. I just cannot be arsed. It's one of those things where you know you have to do it but somehow you can't make yourself.
If I don't finish it this afternoon I'm just going to have to stay up all night, which I don't want to do. WHY am I letting this happen to me? I'm trapped in a procrastinatory vortex of laziness.

This really isn't a moan, its just weird. My lower left eyelid wont stop twitching. I have complete control over that lower one, I can move it independently so idk if that has something to do with it? Its happened before and I've never really noticed a pattern with it. I know sometimes if I get pissed really quickly it will happen, but only if I get really super mad in like, 2 seconds lol. Idk, its weird and annoying. Im self conscious of making any eye contact because I probably look crazy lol.

I have the exact same thing happening right now but mine is my right eye! Spooky! I think it's over tiredness for me, I've had it for days now!

I get that when I'm really tired.

I get it too, no real particular time though. More often as I get older. No one else can see it generally, so no one will think you're crazy!

I've had it random times with my right eye.  I have no idea why.  It annoys me to no end, but my nobody else seems to notice it unless I point it out.  😀

I think it's when you're tired, and I've also heard it happens when you're coming down with a cold!  But I've never experienced catching cold after eye-twitching.  Although my eyes twitched quite a lot a couple years ago when I was under tremendous stress at work - the worst work stress I'd ever experienced.

Hope you're not too stressed, Katie... if that's the case, make sure you take some time for yourself.

Hm, it very well could be stress. Both of my lower eyelids are twitching now. that's a first.

Feeling a bit (a lot) mopey today.
You know when everything just seems too much and no matter what you do it doesn't get easier/better?
Even coming on here has changed for me. I love seeing your adventures and so on, but I don't feel comfortable or confident giving advice like I once did (before my long absence). Doing my own hair has become less enjoyable as I doubt what I know and now that I overthink it my results aren't as good as when I thought 'we'll see what it does' and just bunged on whichever semis I fancied.
Sorry that everytime I come on here it's to moan....just got a bad case of the bleurghs about life, work, relationship, family etc, etc.

Would like to add hugs for everyone else too.

I know exactly how you feel. I've been feeling the exact same for a while and I hate it. I hope you start feeling better! Coming on here usually, usually, makes me feel better and takes my mind off my stresses/worries/depression for a while. It gives me something to think about that makes me happy and distracts me from everything.
