Have A Good Old Moan....

A man collapsed and died right behind our car just now.  We heard sirens as we were checking out at the local grocery store, then we went out in to the parking lot and saw them doing CPR on him.  We couldn't leave because it was literally two steps away from our car, so we stood at the other end of the parking lot and waited.

They worked on him for about twenty minutes and then put him in the back of an ambulance in a sheet.  I keep feeling like I'm going to cry or be sick.

It's made me realise that it is not worth being petty or angry.  Love the people you love, and be kind to everyone else.  You never know when it will be your time or theirs.  It might happen the next time you go to the grocery store.

breaking in my Dr Martens, its going quite well, i havent had one blister, they're not rubbing or anything, but on my left foot, its really tight, at the bridge/ arch (is that what its called?) the top of my foot. it feels bruised 🙁 and when i walk it keeps putting pressure on it, the other foot is fine.

hairs shedding like crazy the past week 🙁 i know its the old 'resting period' hair as the end with the bulbs on them doesnt have a cm root of dark blonde so it hasnt grown the past 2-3 months. im glad its natural shedding but does it have to be soooooo much?? 🙁 i wish i had thick hair

*devil* I am trying to force myself to watch Reign, but the soundtrack is so horrible I wish I could get subtitles and mute the entire series. I can't believe music can overshadow a show like this. *ill*  Insert In the loop Malcolm Tucker Words (here)!

I really don't wanna do the photography for my cousins wedding this month and I don't think there's any way I can get out of it.

I'm going to have to drop out of uni because I can't afford it. Student finance haven't paid me my loan or grants so I have no money, I owe people £1000 for my daughters nursery fees over the past 3 months. I've run out of money and I can't afford to keep studying and now I'm in debt.
They don't care, they keep pushing the date I'm going to get paid back further and further, now it's too far away.
Student finance england are the most awful organisation, they don't care that they've ruined my life.

I bought a laptop back in Feb to replace one that had broken after only 5 months - and now the replacement doesn't work!

can't believe how petty the receptionist at my local GP's is being! I thought I had an appointment today at 9:30am but she's saying it was last wednesday, so I accidentally missed it. I told her that I thought it said the 11th on the paper but she's demanding that she's right and refused to make another appointment for me until I bring the piece of paper (which I think I accidentally threw away)! At this point it doesn't matter who's right or wrong, missing the appointment was a total accident and I just want another one asap. I've never missed one before.

am I over reacting or is she being childish? Refusing me an appointment until she proves me wrong basically.

IMO,  they should have called you before your appointment to confirm and maybe even contacted you after you "missed" it. That's just common sense. And even worse to refuse to reschedule! Very unprofessional...

thats freaking lame. what a bitch. thats how my drs office is i hate that place. ive been trying to switch from my GP to an actual pain clinic right down the street from them and the soonest i can get in is effing january 10th. and i made the appointment a month ago, and it took my GP almost 2 months to send 55 pages of medical records. i hate drs offices. seriously. its like i try to be nice and professional but they never do anything theyre supposed to do..ihave to act like a bitch on her rag having a bad hair day to get even the simplest of things done. they have done the same thing to me. i got both the kids ready and myself by freaking 7:30 am, dropped the hubby off at work a half hour away, came all the way back down this way and they told me my appt was for anearlier date. so i made a new appt and now my insurance is cancelled so now i cant even go. BS.

It has now been nearly six and a half weeks since I had a working washing machine.

The engineer my landlord uses has been called out four times already.  First time, didn't have the part they thought they needed.  Second time, installed the part, didn't test the machine--still broken.  Third time, diagnosed that the machine was well and truly fucked.  Fourth time, installed new machine.

It is the wrong machine.  We need a combi washer/dryer.  They installed a simple washing machine.  It's not even the brand they told us that they had ordered.

So, today, they will come out for a fifth time.  They will install the correct machine.  And I'm asking my estate agency if there's anything they can do to compensate us for the terrible inconvenience they have caused us.  Not only is this the fifth call out, but between call outs one and two, they said they were coming on a certain day to install the part.  The part didn't arrive in time, but no one bothered to let us know that they weren't coming, so I wasted a half a day's holiday waiting in for some dickhead who never even showed.

I'm past the point of pissed off.  This is absolutely disgusting customer service.

that's awful, ring up and ask to speak to the practice manager.. that'll stop her gallop!! 

I was so dizzy that I couldnt crawl and later puked until I kept gagging bile for half a day on friday, still feeling a bit off and I have no clue what caused it, yay.

ehhh that sucks! maybe you ate something that was bad?

2 weeks of tummy pain, missed a whole period and now I'm late for the next one, 5 negative pregnancy tests and my doctor wants me to wait another 4 weeks before they'll do an ultrasound 🙁 It literally hurts to walk which is brilliant when I have a 30kg German Shepherd, luckily I've managed to distract her with some obedience training in the house. I've had to take a whole week off work. I even tried the hospital last night and all she did was confirm that it wasn't a water infection, I'm so stressed it's ridiculous. I miscarried in June which was awful enough you'd think they'd be a bit more forthcoming with an answer as something could actually be wrong.
