Wow, that's a really nasty case of emotional blackmail! I'm sure she doesn't mean it be, but it's really a horrible thing to do to you. Maybe you'll have to be blunt at some point. As Tabitha says, she'll get over it, she'll have to. It's not like you're moving to New Zealand! You can get to England from Wales by car for heaven's sake.

someone hacked into my old pinterest account and tried to reactivate it, so I've spent the last 30mins changing every single password for everything, just incase. Grr

I know she doesn't mean it to be nasty, over the last few years we've lost a few close family members and some have moved away and we used to be a very close family, even great aunts and uncles were close and over the years that's gone away. So I know she just wants to keep our now smaller family close together. But like you said Janine, my family could just drive to me in about 2 and a half hours, it's really not that bad. I've tried telling her that but it's still too far for her.

I will just be blunt at some point. Me and my boyfriend will probably end up living in wales at some point in our lives anyway, his job is too good to leave right now though.

I have a cold. When I took off my bra last night there was a cascade of tissues! Gotta stop stuffing tissues in my bra, it's disgusting!

Feel Unique have sold out of my hair mask just hours before I could order it. So now I have a litre of the shampoo coming and no mask, hopefully they'll get some in before Tuesday.

I can not deal with people who keep bumping my piercings. I take a very long time to heal so every time they carelessly run up to me and touch my face FOR NO REASON they add another WEEK on to my healing time. I've been on ibuprofen for the last 2 weeks due to people touching my anti tragus, its swollen and it HURTS LIKE HELL. I have a snug that hasn't healed in 2 years and has bumps on it and I'm prone to bumps so from the looks of things my brand new cartilage piercings will get them too. I'm so sick of this.

SeaLion: get ahold of some hydrocortisone cream - you can get it over the counter in places like Boots. There's one called Hc45 which is made by the same people as E45 cream. (If they ask what it's for say it's for insect bites.) Put a wee bit on your bumps once a day and they should go away in a few days' time.

(The bumps are hypertrophic scarring and hydrocortisone is a steroid; steroids are useful in the treatment of scars. I gave it a go after my mum had steroid treatment on some post-operative scarring and it worked a treat. Some places can be a bit funny about you applying it above the neck though so I always fib a bit if they ask what it's for. Don't use it for more than a week or so though as it can thin the skin.)

Thank you Tabitha! I'll have a look for it today, hope it works. I've tried tea tree oil, constant sea salk soaks, let's hope this works 🙂

I have no idea how to tell my mum that I'll probably be moving to england with my boyfriend sometime next year. She's always saying things like "I'll die if you move there with him. I couldn't stand not being able to see you.", "You're not moving to england are you? I don't know what I'd do!" etc.

it makes me feel awful and makes it even harder.

My mum/sisters/niece were like this when I was moving away, but I casually said to my mum one day that I would love to move back to where I went to uni and when it was hypothetical she was happy for me to do it, maybe try that? then if she gets upset you can say that she was okay with it? It may only work with my mum as she's flippant sometimes! haha

today sucks. My sister was just taken into hospital because she's been having pains in her stomach (she's 7 months pregnant) and they want her to stay in over night. I had to walk to her place to pick up my stuff in the heavy rain, so I'm soaked through.

The smoke alarm has been beeping every 30 seconds all day and I can't reach the sodding thing to check the batteries! Even with a step ladder the ceiling is too high! It's starting to drive me a bit potty...

sorry if this is TMI.

I'm really stressing about my period arriving today and I know that if I stress, I'll delay it even more. Ugh.
