just got back from my friends house, he had beer, one of our friends, tv, food and music - how awesome is that?

Had dinner at the american diner with my boyfriend as a belated birthday thing (since I was ill then). Had a massive peanut butter cup milkshake and a guacamole burger and now I feel kinda ill but happy. We also watched Spirited Away and this time he didn't fall asleep. Victory!

Dead Island came too, so we've been on that all night bossing some zombies:D wuhooo

Best Sunday morning ever: woke up to an email asking me if I wanted to write an article to be published in a book on the author I did my PhD about.
I feel so grown-up now!

The author is called Procopius, he's a 6th century Greek (Byzantine) historian. Definitely not everyone's cup of tea. But because it's a companion type of book, it's something more for students than specialists which is kinda cool. It might actually be read and not sit on a shelf in a library!! Excitement!

i no longer work at the white cross! YAY!got one last load og stuff for tomorrow then im all settled. bought a bed yesterday and its being delivered tomorrow. i feel so grown up, buying a bed, nice house AND i got a job today! huzzah! also i won some great shorts on ebay. im starting on the lilac trek tomorrow and doing my besties roots AND greys season 7 arrived. so much happy right npw. also its nearly anniversary o'clock. yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

Small woo for me, bought a 3rd gen ipod touch pretty cheap on ebay. Don't want it for the mp3 want it because my projects are becoming less standard graphic design and more crazy app builder and I need some touchy feely apple product to test on. A small part of my soul died as I bought it though, not as large as the part of my soul that died when I bought my macbook pro though >.<

My hair is the pure RED I've been wanting! I did it all by myself, for only $15 compared to the 100$ I've been paying at a salon telling them RED and they'd give me auburn!!
I'm relying on myself from now on 😀

I played football for the first time in months, and i did nearly a full 90 minutes! (only hte first 10 i didnt play) and even better we didnt lose! Ok so only a draw but for our team thats amazing 😀

I also nearly scored but got  tackled in the box lol

Oh and i met a team of under 12's that i think im taking on 😀

had graphics, and he said so far, if i'd just hand in my coursework and no exam or anything, it'd be a D. well, D isn't good, but if unfinished coursework is a D, then add my exam and the rest, what's that? 😀 must be good if i keep up to scratch! finished a whole prep sheet today and i must say it looks great, and he said himself it looks like an A-standard sheet:3
also, my boyfriend does like minecraft seires' on youtube, he has one called Hardcore Survival, and the two of us have Epic Constructors, i am his 'official' artist, i draw the opening/closing art for his videos:3 right, and he told me that every tech lesson or lessons he's in with his friends, he always shows them my art, either in the computer or pictures on his phone/ipod, and apparently they think it's great! if they like it, surely others must do too? well, they must like it, because they've just started a seires between them, and his friends actually ASKED him to ask me if i'd do the art, and my boyfriend wants me to too! 😀 i'm excited to start it, but i can only do a few sketches tonight, because i'm FINALLY painting my dracokamii sculpture, which i really should post pictures of! and then having a skyrim night again, i swear i'm addicted, and i need to find my horse, it's so cute it's actually called "Poh's Horse" ahaaa:33

My foot's finally getting sorted! I went for an assessment today and I've been referred to another clinic for a partial nail avulsion, google it if you're feeling brave haha 🙂

I got my new laptop today so am back online! Had a really nice day (although this is probably a 'moan' instead of a happy because I spent it with my most recent ex and I know I shouldn't have because I still want to be with him and he sees me as a friend, sigh) going to get it and chilling out setting it up <3

On the plus side, I contacted my not-so-recent ex to go for a drink and a catch up.. I miss his company as we were so close for so long and I feel ready enough to see him as a friend and have fun rather than feel miserable. Progress!

Just saw someone at lunch who I haven't seen in probably a year or so ... she stared at me and then blurted out "have you lost LOADS of weight?!  It really shows!"

😀  Yeah!  It's great when I notice, but even more amazing when others do.
