Good Vibrations

I've found a supervisor for my PhD! And I don't even have to move to another city, cause it's someone at the same uni I did my MA at. WOOOOP WOOP!

I still have to write a research proposal, apply, look for funding and then apply for that as well... icky forms and numbers and hard stuff. But it's a great relief to have found someone and to know where I'll be.

I just weighed myself so I can have a start weigh coz I forgot to do it a couple of days ago when I started my diet. I lost a bit of weight before xmas so that I could have some naughty food but even with the choccies and cakes I've lost 5 kilos since the start of December! That's 11lbs to the oldies like me. LOL ;D

So I found out my contract at work isn't getting extended, but the good news is they will rehire me in 4-6 weeks. Although i'll still be looking for jobs I can stop worrying about starving to death ha!

My hair has grown so much! I only just realised because I noticed how super long my pony tail is compared to before!!
Totally balances out the fact I'm ill. [[ I'm sure I'm going to regret saying that in the morning! ]]

P.S. Yay for no eyebrows. 😀

^wooo i can relate to this, i also have next to no eyebrows when i cba to draw them, and just this morning i was joyous of my ponytail too:D it looked like an extension ponytail:o

buttt, my happy happy, got my november maths results back, C on the higher paper *middle finger to my maths teacher* wuhoo! aaaand, overall so far in my exams from science, which get evened out, like an A, a B, 2 C's and 2 D's would be a C.. i gottt, a B! so far anyways, if i can scrape up extra marks in my last few, i *might* (pls don't be jinxed, touch wood, touch ground black magic lardy lardy dah!) be able to get an A :333

I'm also in a happy happy mood. I contacted this professor lady at the university I want to do my post-doc at and I was sooo scared (I'm petrified of rejection) but she answered so nicely and it really reassured me. Now I only have to write the 2000 word proposal tomorrow and it'll all be pretty much done...

Now if only my antibiotics didn't make me feel like retching and give me huge stomach cramps. Oh well, it can't all be butterflies, unicorns and rainbows!

went to my new house today. its perfect! wish i was living there already. new plugs & shorts arrived today. i saw ryan(i hate him not being here. going from24/7 to nothing for days is horrible) and got trial shifts at a new pub next weekend. =D applied for like 4 jobs today and i has a good feeling =) *touches wood and all that jiggery poke*

There are actually guys paying attention to me. As in, four guys at the same time. It's strange, but weirdly flattering ;3

managed to get to town, bought apple green dye, false eyelashes and some foundation :3 it's my colour, and the eyelashes look really natural and nice i'm so happy to have lashes!

also, went to a resteraunt for dinner with my bf just got back, was lovely eating at a classier place rather than KFC hehe :3 really enjoyed it!

Had my hair cut 🙂

practically one day till my septum.. a friend at school got hers done today, and said it was like 6/10 pain wise, which isn't too bad: ) feeling.. nercited :') gunna have to pick an outfit that goes with my 'school trousers' (that's black skinnies to everyone but teachers) hehe, i hardly ever wear skinnies anymore!

also, i got served alcohol today! wahoo! not sure, but it made me feel FINALLY like an adult! *cough* although the manager spoke to my dad on the phone and said 16 year olds can have alcohol in their resteraunt if we have a meal.. but! they didn't even ask at the bar, so i must look grown up ;333

just ordered the start of ryans anniversary present =)

To balance out my moan:
I can procrastinate studying a bit more because there's a garage sale near my house in half an hour and I'm so gonna be there!
