Good Vibrations

Just ordered new hair dyes, so my friend Kimmy and I can get all pretty again :3

Also, my hair is long enough to put it in a ponytail again - hopefully it will be chest length by summer, it grows soo fast :]

My dad just drove me 3 1/2 hours after getting off a 4 hour flight from Finland so that I'd be back at uni on time (after my boyfriend messing me around which meant I didn't get the train as planned). I feel so loved right now I might get a bit blubby, but happy blubby.

I got a snake, I got a snake, I got a snake! I've wanted one for yeeears!

I had one many years ago but alas, snake supplies weren't what they are now and the poor thing burned himself on the light bulb and got ill and died.

Now they have starter kits with heat mats and lovely things to help little snakies to survive in captivity. I have a Carolina Corn Snake and she's called India. The breeder took an educated guess that she's female because the tail section is different for males and females and once she hatched he compared her to the others. Being female she'll be longer than the males anyway so I'm actually glad about that because some males only get to about 4 feet while the females can get up to 5 and a half. Can't wait till she's fully grown! She's only 16 inches at the moment - measured her this morning - but she'll be over four feet in a year's time! How's that for growth?!

Stretching didn't even hurt at all. Felt no resistance. It tickled.
