Awww kitties XD

My cats used to never let me read a book or go on the computer in peace.  They'd always plant themselves right in front of it, basically saying "pay attention to me, because I'm so much more important than this thing!"  One of them had a particularly bad habit of walking across the keyboard, lol.

Worst thing mine did was rip off the tab key and run off with it. He loves stomping the keys and bringing up new windows/searches etc. Some of the stuff he manages to do i don't even know how to do!

Mini happy - decided I do like the purple I've added to my hair. Very much actually. Hate the cut though cos it's all inbetweeney and yeurgh! Looks disturbingly masculine too. Like a mens above shoulder do. That part should be in the moan thread!

I will! 😀 I'll try to snap some today and have them up tonight.
That's amazing. o_o A dog that trained itself.

Oh, my cat Ringo likes to sit on my chest, because I go on the laptop lying down most of the time. He faces the screen, meaning a big butt in my face, watches what I do, and attacks the keyboard if I type too fast, because he thinks that I'm playing with him. xD It's so cute, though.

So, after a week of slowly training myself up (stop-start jogging and resting my knee for a day in between), I've just jogged a mile without stopping for the first time since I tore my knee ligaments!  It was a slow mile, because I've got to get my stamina back, but it was a mile!

I'm so beyond happy about that right now.  I'll have to see how it is tomorrow, but seriously, so happy ... if this keeps up, I'll be back up to 5k three times a week by Christmas!  (And hopefully it will help me shift another stone by then, too).

Off to go shower.  One of the nicest feelings, I think, a stretch and a shower after a jog.

My cat is curled up next to me and purring loudly.  That is all, but it's enough to make me smile!

urgh as much as my cat is the cutest old man cat ever, he doesn't half annoy me when i'm on L4D2, he insists on 'paddling' on my belly (he's really heavy, mind you) then getting comfy on my chest, and rubbing his face on the controller every time it vibrates, causing me to look like a complete amateur at xbox to the other players xD

Well done Squishy, you deserve to be proud of that 🙂 I don't jog myself, but do powerwalking, four and a half miles every other day usually. I need to lose about a stone and a half, have lost about an inch in total in just a few weeks 🙂

Thanks, Inquisitress : )

Powerwalking's tough!  I've tried it before, I find it easier to jog.  That's amazing that you do that distance three times a week.

So far, so good on my knee today.  Even my legs don't really hurt at the minute.  But I know that sometimes the serious pain will wait a day, so I'll rest it up this weekend and do another mile on Monday.

Well done Squishy!  It's such a hard thing to get back into exercise following an injury, so congrats on sticking with it!

Thanks Squishy, it's hard work but I'm getting there slowly. Want to start going back to the gym too to have a bit of variation, need to do something because I was 8.5 stone most of my adult life and over the last 6 months I've gone up to just over 10 stone 🙁

Good luck with the jogging, keep us posted 🙂
